The visitor begins with the section of the Pharaonic era that mimics the history of the Twelfth Dynasty, which ruled Egypt for two hundred and fifty years continuously. متحف الشمع في حلوان متحف مصري يقع في مدينة حلوان بالقاهرة، تم تأسيسه عام 1934، ويضم المتحف العديد من الأعمال الفنية من الشمع وكذلك مقتنيات نادرة لمراحل تطور التاريخ المصري، بداية من الفراعنة وصولا إلى العصر الحديث، يوجد بالمتحف العديد من تماثيل شمعية صنعت بدقة متناهية دفعت متخصصين إلى تصنيفه في المركز الرابع في قائمة أفضل متاحف الشمع في العالم، كما صنف ثاني أشهر متحف شمع في العالم.

أعلن اللواء أسامة النحاس، رئيس حى حلوان جنوب القاهرة، أن الحى سيعمل على تطوير متحف الشمع، تمهيدًا لإعادة افتتاحه، فالتطوير سيشمل حديقة المتحف والسور المحيط به، كما يتم حاليًا التنسيق مع وزارة الثقافة لتطوير التماثيل.

أغلق المتحف نتيجة الإهمال الشديد الذى تعرض له مع الوقت، فلم يتم إجراء أى تجديد أو صيانة له وأصبح مملوءًا بالقمامة إضافة إلى شروخ فى جدران المبانى.

انه مكان جميل وأيضا يتوفر بجانبه موقف سيارات الوجه القبلي سيارات الأقاليم أقصد انه من السهل الوصول إليه من جميع المحافظات بس لأ سف محدش مهتم بهذا المكان تقريبا كأنه مغلق

المكان مغلق منذ سنوات طويله الى الان .. والغريبه انك تجد بعض المضللين كاتبين انه شغال ويجب زيارته وبعضهم كاتب انه تم اعاده فتحه .. ياريت تتقوا الله فى كلامكم .. بتخلوا الناس تدب مشوار لحد هناك وتلاقيه مقفول ؟؟

مكان تاريخي جمييل والله واي حد هيروح هينبسط وتم اضافه اشياء كثيره زادت المكان مكانه وجمال
