Really good food, compliments to the chef! Awesome interior as well. Also recommend to visit Holdre hunting castle (now Piano museum) very near, it's architecture is in a similar fashion.

The best spa in Estonia in my opinion. Cozy and very special atmosphere, nice staff and a beautiful restaurant. It is so well designed that the tunnel unites two buildings. I really love it there every time we visit. It won't be my last. Thank you 🤗

Location got 4 stars only because it's quite a distance away from bigger cities (when taking into account the overall small size of Estonia), but at the same time it's beautiful, calm and quiet there.

Quite long distance to drive from our capital city, however it' s worth it! Hotel offers high quality accommodation, including very cosy spa area. Restaurant surprised us with tasty meal& lovely food presentation. Stuff was very friendly and attending:)

The hotel was amazing. The food over there is very good the place had good saunas and nice pools. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The access from my hotel room to the pool was great so you dont have to freeze outside after going to the pool.

Amenities - Nice and clean spa/sauna center. There isn't much to do, if you are with the small children, as all the pools are rather deep. Saunas were too cold both two days, (instead of 90C ,more like 70C)

Hotel room was big with extra large bed.
Total - 4/5

Service - Polite and nice, but nothing excpetional - 4/5

Price/Value - There isn't anything better in the area, so excellent. 5/5

Very uniquely amazing experience.

The rooms were nice and authentic - high ceilings and lovely interior. Sadly the ventilation wasn’t too good. It got pretty hot in the morning and there was little air to breathe in the room.

The spa was really nice. Located in the cellars of the old manor, it really gave you an authentic feeling of an old mansion. The low arced ceilings look amazing and there are several nice design elements which make the whole spa look unique. The saunas were scattered around different doorless rooms in the cellar. That created a relatively quiet and relaxing atmosphere as you wouldn’t hear people in other parts of the spa, and everything felt quite private. You don’t see everyone at the same time as there is no one big central room. The saunas look really nice and they even have a replica of a historical Estonian smoke sauna and it feels pretty authentic. You won’t see the real thing too often so this is a really nice opportunity to see what it looked like in the olden days. There is no big pool to swim long distances in, but there is a pool where you can swim a couple of rounds. And that was enough for me, I don’t like the water park feeling anyway.

To get the full castle/manor feeling - go to the balcony right after the spa in your robe. You can really feel like a squire in your own manor. Don’t forget to go for a stroll/picnic in the park (you can even order a picnic basket for your arrival).

PS: You can go up to the tower too - it’s a great view.

Who woudn't want to enjoy some peace and quiet once in a while? This place is increadable. Very nice old castle with great history and new romantic spa area with outside pool where you can swim even in winter. I enjoyd this place with my besties and we had great room with romantic bath area and nice view, also had a tasty dinner in the restaurant. There was some issues with the water but it wasn't Taageperas fault. Personelle handled this situation very professionally, so... I am sure you have a great vecation with fresh air, pure nature, spa, nice room, great food and excelent service. Go check it out 👌⛪

Very relaxing surroundings. I was here Sunday night so there was a lot of room in the spa. The food was also quite satisfactory. Typical European menu with stakes, duck etc.

Really enjoyed my stay in Wagenküll. The spa facilities were great, the bedroom was comfy and the customer service was excellent. The food at the restaurant was absolutely divine and breakfast superb. I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location. Excellent facilities, the SPA was surprisingly big. Overall, great value for money.

Taagepera castle or Wagenküll, they lately renovated and the place looks outstanding. SPA is small but with a few good sauna options. Swimmingpool is small but nice. Jacuzzi is there. Spa/saunas are nice but a expensive extra option. Restaurant on the other hand is near perfect. Same quality main courses in the capital are 2 or 3 times more expensive. Plenty to discover from the menu food and drink wise. Esthetics and options with a great surroundings are a perfect weekend getaway.

Really love the place. Spa is one of the best in Estonia. And the food is really delicious, specially black pasta.

Excellent venue to hold a wedding. Easily accommodate 60-70 guests, so every one can enjoy all evening and night without worrying how to get home. Simply the Best!

Nice spa, good restaurant, stylish rooms

Very nicely renovated castle, popular for holding weddings or other events. Has nice rooms for accommodating groups of all sizes. Nice gardens also around the castle. Entry for tourists: 2€
