Mõisa Talli Pubi

This place definitely surprised me. I did not expect much as the name mentions "pub" and it is located in a small southern village where "city people" don't often go.
My main was local fish and it was treated with true respect. It melt in my mouth! The flavours in the dishes were simple but the raw produce was fresh and good quality.
My daughter ordered hamburger and I have to admit that these hand made french fries are far better I've had in France, Lille (official capital of French fries). The Mõisa Talli Pubi knows how to make correct potatoes because theirs were full of flavour, perfect inside out!

Tap beer selection was surprisingly wide and they make their own bread and butter as well. I definitely recommend the place!

A very cozy tavern and all of the food was great. BBQ pork was straight from the oven and was so soft. Fish and chips were good as expected being near Peipsi järv. Waiter (maybe even the owner) was very friendly. Even a big projecting screen where you can watch sports!

Good atmosphere, great menu, cider on tap. Fried fish was very good. One of the best restaurants in Southern Estonia. Would definitely recommend to others and will visit again.

Great food😉

Visited in Sunday afternoon. There were some other guests but the tavern was mostly empty. I decided to skip the entree and ordered only main course and the dessert plus a large beer. For some odd reason they had excellent selection of Paulaners. That was pleasant surprise. Whil Paulaner isn't in top of my list I rather expected average countryside pub selection that is filled with something like A. Le Coq or Saku. I went for 1l Märzen that tasted quite fresh. For the main course I picked perch pike/Sander. It arrived around 15 minutes after making my order. I have to admit it's best perch-pike i have ever had. It was soft and juicy. Taste was clean and absolutely fantastic. As a side it has fair share of green salad with some white sauce that tasted excellent. Plate also had some sweet potato fries. Those were Ok. Based on looks and taste they must have been previously frozen, they could have also used separate dressing as the white sauce was barely enough for the fish and salad. With the main course they also brought me some white bread and garlic spread. Maybe it was the weather but this was absolutely fantastic. White bread had been slightly grilled - warm but still soft. Garlic spread was absolutely divine and went with the warm white bread perfectly. For dessert I had warm apple cake with ice cream. This was solid, nothing special but decent. Pike perch was absolute star tho. Best I have had for a long time. Will certainly be visiting again.
