Hostal Olmito Canoa

Olmito is a great hostel. It is right on the beach, and close to everything else you need in Canoa. The owner is very friendly and relaxed. The place itself is really cool, and there is loads of space to lie in hammocks and look out over the sea. The kitchen is also a great bonus.

Overall I loved the hotel. I got upgraded from shared bathroom to ensuite. They even gone and got me a bottle of vine from elsewhere. The bed was very comfortable and there was a comfy seating area outside. There is good view of the sea and restaurants available just outside.

Really cozy spot by the beach. Great for the family and excellent service.

I spent 5 days in what I'll call the "bridal suite". #10, the Cocoa suite. A very large room with lovely polished hardwood floors.
The best bed I've slept in while in Ecuador.
The shower was large as well.
For hotwater rotate the handle counter clockwise. Be patient and you'll have a the water you need.
Kitchen and refrigerator are available to the guests.
House keeping was very responsive.
The manager was very attentive, warm and welcoming.
This facility deserves more than 5 stars.

Very nice and friendly owners, and people, right on the beach. A lot of hammocks and places to relax, and they offer surfboard lessons. Recommend!!!

For the price this is 200% better than the only 4 star hotel in town. Rooms were better equipped, more comfortable and importantly much much cheaper.

You get more than what you pay for and the only bad thing was that I didnt come here sooner and paid 4 times as much for one night as I did here for two nights..

Close to the great restaurants on the beach and many places to relax and read within. Peaceful place with a helpful and trustworthy host! The balconies/teracces were amazing to hang in a hammock and relax.

The host arranged us a taxi to the airport which came when agreed and was cheaper than I could have imagined.

If I find myself in Canoa again, this is where I will go!

It is a recently remodeled hotel and it is very nice, unique details. All in wood, Clean, spectacular attention, children's areas, the location in front of the sea, for families is a place where you do not hesitate to stay. Manuel (administrator) attended us with courtesy and professionalism. We'll be back without thinking twice 😊😊

Olmito is a super nice place to spend your time in. The rooms are very cosy and the shared áreas perfect for relaxing. Stuff and music are great. The Location is lovely cause its close to the sea. We would definitly recommend it! :)

Muy buena atención. Buena relación precio/comodidades. Hay un espacio de cocina comunal para los huéspedes lo que se agradece en estadías prolongadas, para economizar. Hay bidones de agua purificada en los pasillos, lo cual es conveniente cuando necesitas hidratarte a media noche. Lo único que me causó reparos es que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente, no sé si las pilas del control remoto no servían o es mala conexión eléctrica pero es un punto que deberían revisar. Creo que regresaremos a Olmito.

Wir wollten eigentlich nur 2 Nächte bleiben. Daraus wurden aber 5.
Wir haben die Zeit im Hostal Olmito sehr genossen. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war super freundlich. Wir hatten viel Spass und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Excelente atención, limpieza, el hostal está cerca de la playa, las personas que atienden son muy amables y tienen buena predisposición... Definitivamente volveré... Canoa lugar donde se respira aire puro

Súper bonito el lugar, muy acogedor. El encargado muy amable. La habitación limpia y agradable. Cuentan con la cocina comunal, parqueo, wifi y parqueadero que es muy importante. Felicitaciones por la hospitalidad es estar como en casa. Gracias 🫂

Les installations sont de qualité.
Très propre.
L’espace commun / cuisine extérieure est parfait pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs.
Je retournerai dans cet hostal si je reviens à Canoa.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sauberes Zimmer und man kann Surfboards ausleihen. Jeremy war super nett und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Ubicasion perfecta. En frente da la playa. El hostal es muy lindo. Manual nos hizo sentir en nustra casa en las primeras minutas. Alba y Wiliam no hizieron los mejor cocteles siempre servido con sonrisas. Paula guarda el hostal bien limpio, yo no tendria verguenza a comer por el suelo.

Si en todo los hosteles cada empleados trabajaria como ellos, los review no existeria.
