Beautiful restaurant to eat with a view.
I tried their traditional menu, and it was amazing. Loved the dessert. Tasted so good. Outside was so beautiful! You get to see their llamas, be on the big swing. And do water activities.

We came here for another afternoon coffee break, and we were pleasantly surprised. The place has friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderful view from the restaurant. Prices are a bit steep, so expect to pay between 15 and 20 dollars for lunch or dinner. Can't say the cheesecake we had was to die for, or that the coffee stood out, but the atmosphere and tranquility of the places makes up for it.

Ideal for a day trip with friends or family. Beautiful views great food.

Beautiful restaurant featuring glass walls overlooking Lago San Pablo. Great food, great service, and a great view of the lake and the volcano. The landscaping of the complex is well-done, making it a great place to eat and then walk around to enjoy the scenery. They also have a playground for kids. Worth the drive, and the entrance is well marked right off the main road.

Really good spot to come see the lake and dine with family. I stopped by for coffee and cake with friends and liked the place so much, I returned later for dinner. Tourist prices, but the food portions are quite big (I ordered the tuna salad as an entree, but once I saw its size I decided it was my main dish). Definitely recommend asking for the daily/seasonal specials, as they have promotional prices. Very accommodating and efficient staff.

Hotel looks very very pretty! They have a restaurant so you can come and see the view without paying for a room!

The service was top-notch, and the quality of the food was very good. The price is higher thatln the average Placer around the area but it has a big plus: the facilities and the view that are very well maintained.

Portions are in the smaller side for similar restaurants in Quito for the same price though.

Amazing place, with a wonderful view over the Imbabura mountain and lake San Pablo. Best to go at dusk, for phenomenal photos and an afternoon coffee and cake treat. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful place and excellent food.

This is a very nice and upscale Resort on the shores of the lake. The food is absolutely excellent with a wonderful view directly on the water. They also have Cabanas and rooms available, a full-service bar, and amenities all around the property. Very nice getaway for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend this be the Joseph location for any trip to Otavalo.

Beautiful Place on Lake San Pablo, very good Restaurant

Puerto Lago is the kind of destination you only see in paintings. Beaucolic landscaping with breathtaking views of the lake and volcano would be enough to make this a must see. Add too it some of the best food I've had in a vacation already packed with great food and this place is absolutely perfect. If you're in the area, treat yourself to an afternoon in true paradise.

Amazing view of the lake. Food is fantastic. We did not stay over but the property looks very nice. Worth the travel time from Quito to relax and have a nice lunch

This place has improved it service substantially. Although we arrived with no reservation and it was very full, we had a 15 minute wait for the table. Once seated the food came fast, which is important when you have a hungry dad and hungry kids. Food is as good as always. The facilities are great for post food fun with the lake and kids play are as well as lamas.

This is a beautiful resort on the lake. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will try to do anything you ask them to do for you. The food in the restaurant was delicious and with a beautiful presentation. Would be a great place for an anniversary stay or just a vacation spot.

Terrific hotel and restaurant. The view of the lake and volcano are spectacular. It's great just to sit on the grass (or on chairs on the grass) and enjoy the view. Visitors are welcome to tkae a boat out onto the lake for free too! The grounds are a bit manicured for my taste, but that's a tiny quibble. Everything -- rooms, restaurant, grounds -- are beautifully and tastefully decorated. Few but good vegetarian options in the restaurant.

Excellent and elegant lakeside dining room that's almost flush to the water with amazing views of the mountain. Onsite suites for guest and great local menu with a bar. Market with some vendors decorate the outside. Worth stopping, if not staying for a night or two.
