JARDIN DE LAS MARIPOSAS

Great place. Huge property you can walk around on. Ensure to sit by the river and feed the ducks and fish. Food at the restaurant was made fresh and the kitchen was open and very clean. Butterflies were better taken care of here than the other two butterfly gardens in Mindo. Very good for little kids.

We walked from town which took about 45min-1hour along an easy, fairly quiet road. Go in the morning as the butterflies are asleep in the afternoon. $7 entry fee, and they give you a short talk (in Spanish, but fairly easily understood) on the life cycle of a butterfly, then you can spend as long as you like in the butterfly house. Wear bright clothes if you want them to land on you! We really enjoyed it, and felt it was worth the entry fee (although it is a bit more expensive than some other attractions in mindo).

Beautiful butterflies of all life stages and wild hummingbirds and a peaceful environment. The owner, Anibal, is very pleasant and knowledgeable.

For 6USD you get a little explenation in Spanish about the butterfly and the huge pleassure of seeing many of them. I enjoyed it so much!!

The main butterfly garden is very nice as expected, but the shelf of chrysalis
is really amazing. I could observe even a metamorphosis.
The entrance is 6$, but the transportation by taxi costs 5$ for each way. The way to the waterfall has more slope but 7$, so if you want to save your money, my recommendation is to go here and back by foot and take a taxi to the waterfall entrance and walk back to Mindo.

Beautiful place, we lived being inside the canopy where the butterflies were able to flutter around you. The guide was well informative and helpful. A great place to visit.. a bit of a drive on dirt roads..

El recinto está hermoso, muy bien cuidado y nos encantó aprender, las mariposas y aves son lo mejor.

Appena fuori mindo, si arriva con una strada sterrata. Parcheggio e bagni puliti. Breve presentazione del ciclo riproduttivo delle farfalle con esempi. Poi si passa allo spazio principale dove si può camminare liberamente in mezzo alle farfalle. Bene nel complesso ma forse biglietto un poco caro (7 usd) .

Nos gustó esta nueva experiencia, la variedad y belleza de las especies de mariposas nos maravilló a toda la familia.
El paseo al lago y al río fue un plus muy bien recibido.

Merveilleux endroit pour tout comprendre de la vie des papillons, de l’œuf au papillon en passant par le ver et la chrysalide. Situé à 2km de Mindo par la piste vers Saloya, accès possible en taxi. Une merveille de visite guidée recommandée à 100%. Passer une heure dans la serre aux milliers de papillons est une expérience inoubliable. Si possible, privilégier une visite par une matinée ensoleillée pour voir l’éclosion des papillons.

Un lugar tranquilo dónde se puede ver todo el proceso de crecimiento de las mariposas en todos sus estados, recomendado para ir con niños, adicionalmente tiene acceso al río con una pequeña laguna con peces y patos

La experiencia de este mariposario es bastante completa, te muestran todas las etapas de las mariposas y también puedes interactuar con ellas en un ambiente muy amigable, un lugar que tienen que ir!!! Recomendado ✅🦋
