Excellent seafood. Grest service. Worth the trip to Salango! We were guestsof our good friends Tania and Ed, but the prices appeared reasonable for such a great selection of seafood.

Incredible place. Food was amazing!!! They even have started their own coffee business called Salango Coffee! Local business in a tiny little town. Highlight of my husband and I's trip to the coast. Must visit.

This pearl of Ecuador is hidden well in Salango, best seafood in Ecuador for sure. Fresh from the ocean, and totally delicious. Please try the in house coffee beans its great. The owner support small local coffee farms around the country.

I had shrimp with garlic. It was perhaps the best prepared shrimp I have ever eaten. One block below the restaurant is the haven for many fishing boats.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants on the coast of Ecuador featuring the freshest seafood. The owner is always present which ensures a pleasant experience and proper service. They even roast and serve their own coffee and needless to says it's fantastic . Overall, and excellent dinning experience worth driving to. Can't wait to come back again.

I'm staying at The Magical Mystery Tour II (El Mirador) for 75 days. Found this restaurant on the interwebby. I've been there twice so far. Food is fantastic! Great hosts, great cook. I'll be returning again and again during my stay. Absolutely one of the best restaurants around!

Amazing seafood restaurant; excellent service. The fresh platain chips as starter (for free) is a sign what is coming next will be delicious. I like the variety of fish offered (5 - 6) and the many ways they can be prepared; I had a "colorado with seafood sauce". At the end, I highly recommend ordering a coffee.

hands down, the best seafood i have had in the last 10 years- anywhere in the world. first, you have a choice of 6 different types of fish, shrimp, shellfish, octopus, lobster, etc. next, you choose from 5 or 6 different ways of preparation. every item has been caught fresh that same day, and the perfect combination of flavoring and love goes into each plate. i recommend the “patacones”, or smashed plantains, to accompany. besides the quality of food, the owner is a delight to meet, and the staff are equally kind and helpful. i took a taxi from puerto lopez just to dine here and it was worth every penny. do not miss this if you are in the area-

For sure one of the best restaurants in the world. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but the experience is amazing. The food is always fresh, and the taste is out of this world. If you are around Manabí, Ecuador, you should definitely give it a try. World class

A friend from Guayaquil took me here over a weekend jaunt to Ayampe during a trip to Ecuador. I can say with little hesitation that it may be the best seafood I've ever had - fresh, generous portions, perfectly seasoned, delicious. My friend said that Delfin Magico is famous in Ecuador, and I can see why; It was among the culinary highlights of our trip. If you are a foreigner traveling in Ecuador, you may need help from a local to find this gem, as it is a little off the main road in the center of town, and will want to brush up on your Spanish (particularly terms for different types of shellfish and fish) so that you are able to order, but the proprietor was friendly and generous with us as we muddled through.

Salango is a lovely, quiet, modest town - you are far removed from the modern cities of Guayaquil and Quito here - savor the authenticity and make friends with the local kids who will be delighted if you kick a ball around with them for a while after dinner.
