Restaurante De Jimmy (Waterfront)

Two weeks into a month’s stay in the area, and this is our go-to spot. The food is excellent and fresh. Everyone is very friendly and the service is good. Sitting right along the beach with an incredible view and sea breeze adds to the atmosphere. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner a few times here and food is consistently great.

Really really delicious chicken (apanado) and fish (Robalo, Sea Bass) with an incredible view, perfect beach with real and green colored stones. Friendly pets and people, hammocks and waves. Couldn’t ask for more.

Delicious and well prepared seafood right on an amazing stretch of Pacific beach. Excellent fried calamar and pescado. Dont miss the coconut flan. Come here...you deserve it.

Absolutely superb, definitely the best restaurant around in Tunas, if not Ayampe too... Went twice now, both times really great. First ordered robalo in peanut sauce, then got it with coconut and shrimp. They cook the fish perfectly, soft and delicate, not overdone like everywhere else in Ecuador. Great mango, pinapple, and watermelon juice / smoothies. The bathroom was well stocked with soap and paper towels. Can't wait to come back again!

Came here on recommendation walking along the beach and I wasn’t disappointed. Had an early evening meal of ceviche and then fish with garlic and salad - it was absolutely delicious.
You can sit inside and out - overlooking the beach and lovely sunset.
With a couple of beers the total came to less than $20, which for the quality of food was really good.
I wil walk another 6km again to go to this great restaurant and I suggest you do too!,

The fish ceviche and spaghetti are excellent. Loved going there and sitting at the tables/hammocks by the water with a cold pilsener.

The food was excellent. The view was stunning and the outdoor patio seating was very open and comfortable.

Excellent beach side restaurant. Fine food. Cold drinks. Everything high quality, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Tables by the bar and kitchen, or under shade right on the beach. Great fish ceviche and the fried chicken is unexpectedly special (and a total bargain). Love Jimmy's place!

They have the best seafood in the area! And while you eat you can have your feet in the sand while watching the waves crashing on the sand! Highly recommend eating here!
