Saona Café

Ordered a grilled fish fillet sandwich. It was juicy end, so tasty easily the best meal I’ve had in Bayahíbe. The Mojito was so good and very strong, 2 ounces of rum! The music was fun too, some people were dancing. fun vibe! Will return!

We visit Saona cafe several times over the last week. Each time the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great. The location looking out to the marina is perfect for afternoon beers and cocktails

Fresh ingredients and perfect texture.

Went in on Christmas Eve, no reservation, not crowded at 7:30 pm, no wait time to be seated. Fantastic central location with a view of the pier, cozy and familiar ambience, friendly staff. Asked what their fish specialty was, they explained they are the only ones in the region to prepare the lion fish (due to the spikes which are a pain to deal with). True or not, the fish in its orange/ginger sauce was delicious. The salad on the side was seasoned with a perfectly fresh light dressing. Rice and tostones were superb too. Ah and not to mention the mojito! Fresh, not too sweet, not too heavy on liquor... everything I tried was perfect! Congrats and thanks!

Nice bar, good drinks, friendly service (also English speaking), perfect spot to watch all tourists and souvenir sellers for the Saona Island tours 😂

Lovely restaurant at reasonable prices. Fun atmosphere and good tunes. The staff (especially Matteo and Marioli) were so very kind & went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent. I had the steak and I didn't even need A1 sauce that's how good it was. My wife had the shrimp and pear parmesan salad, she said it was the best she had.

Loved the place and service. We recommend Fisherman burger with Lionfish and Platana burger.

It is a touristic spot, of course, so prices are high, but worth it. Fresh juice, good express food, amazing atmosphere and service, the girls working there are so friendly and nice.

The tapas selection is lovely, we went back twice!
They have a 50% discount on tapas on Friday I think, wished we new before missing it ;)

Great little bar/restaurant on a very central spot overlooking the harbour in Bayahibe. Good, large cocktails and the sustainably sourced lion fish is delicious. Special thanks to the friendly Belgian manager who generously helped me to arrange transport for an afternoon trip to Boca de Yuma. Highly recommended!

Our very favourite place in Bayahibe! Food is always excellent, consistently good fresh ingredients, delicious and creative menu and good size portions. You won't leave hungry! Sebastian and his staff are fantastic!

The best restaurant in Bayahibe, a MUST visit when you are in the area. The best burgers or sandwiches in town for lunch, excellent gourmet dishes for dinner, lots of great food and drinks to choose from. You might end up there for breakfast, lunch and dinner for you whole vacation :) BTW great service and reasonable prices too.
