Dreams Dominicus La Romana

It's my first time in the Dominican Republic. I was very impressed with everything about this resort, from its location and its beautiful beach to the layout of the grounds and the wonderful rooms and services. The food quality was very good with a very nice assortment to choose from.

Amazing resort with beautiful accommodations, friendly attentive staff, delicious food options, an assortment of activities and excursions and warm, blue waters! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back 😊

Dreams Dominicus La Romana by far exceeded my expectations and more. We went there for our Honeymoon! We got the Honeymoon suite which was absolutely amazing and comfortable! Ya'll the location here is awesome! It is about an hour from the airport but well worth the drive! The Beach is stunning and no bugs whatsoever! Service was excellent and the food made me do my happy food dance every time! Dani our Butler was amazing keeping us up on all the events and preferred member activities. The Entertainment team are so much fun and such hard workers! Black Mamba and Super Champion always made sure we were having fun! Then there is Fenel our bartender at the swim up bar. I can't thank him enough he really took care of us. my husband doesn't drink and he made my husband feel comfortable always had a club soda and lime ready to go for him! He made us feel like family! Thank you everyone for making my first real vacation ever so special! we are definitely coming back!

I stayed at Dreams Dominicus for a family member's wedding. The wedding planner, Rossy, was fantastic and really bent over backwards. I found the staff in the nicer restaurants and separate bars to be super attentive. I've been to a few other all-inclusives and I actually liked that the resort is smaller and calmer. They had good shows each night - mostly fire/dancing/effects. The beach was probably smaller, yet there was no fighting for chairs. I did like that they had a 24hour cafe with baked goods but also sandwiches. Also, they are attentive to allergies. In all restaurants I was able to get GF alternatives provided without any concern. For a wedding it was such a beautiful setting.

Excellent from start to finish. This is our new goto for a vacation. We booked for 9 people in our group, flew in from Canada. Excellent service, the beach is amazing, tons of pools. What else do you need!

This was our 1st trip to Dreams Dominicus La Romana, and we loved it! It was our 1st time in 10 years of vacationing in the Dominican Republic that we strayed away from Punta Cana. And we are glad we did!
PC is getting (in our opinion) too commercialized and Americanized, and personally, my husband, myself, and our friends who travel with us don't like that.

The resort is charming! We love the smaller layout of it. It almost feels like a little villa village. The rooms have a more private feel to them and it's quiet in the rooms.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They work very hard to make sure people enjoy their vacations.

If you want a beautiful beach with the colors of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets, THIS is your place!

There were about 3 days of our 13 that mother nature had her hand at the wind, and the water was rough, but that is out of anyone's control. The sun was still shining!!

The food was really good! We never had a bad meal. Did we have to wait at times to get seating, yes. I think a lot of people dine late here because the beach is packed every night with people watching the sunsets. They are STUNNING! People are typically heading to dinner, and the restaurants get full from like 7:30- 9pm. Plan accordingly and be patient!

We loved their entertainment staff, who stay very busy all day with various activities from morning water aerobics in the ocean, volleyball, darts, Spanish lessons, pool bicycle workouts, and much more.

Then, at night, their experienced and very talented dance entertainment staff performs great shows. It is a bit late, at 9:30 pm, but I am sure they are trying to get the restaurants cleared out so everyone can enjoy.

Their spa is very nice. There is hydrotherapy also with your services. It was a bit warm in the room, but the massage therapists accommodated us immensely.

There are vendors who have shops down the beach, but they are not allowed on the grounds. However, the spa staff promotes, as do the Scuba Carribe & Amstar people for excursions. As well as resort waiter staff for higher end special romantic meals that are an upcharge.

If I may suggest something that I really hope management will consider, is that there needs to be more umbrellas and beach palapas for sun shade- regular section and preferred.
There are people who lay in the sun all day, but I think it's fair to say that there are more who can't be in it that long and need shade.
It creates arguments and upset during the day. With people taking umbrellas and palapas while others may be dining or swimming for a while.

And have more bar service staff present on the beach on both sides during the busiest part of the beach day.
Doing that would give the resort a 5+ in my book.

We enjoyed staying at this resort in Dec 2023. The food and drink was good and the beach was great. Service was excellent and friendly. The hotel is very well kept and clean.

Loved this place. Rooms were clean. Staff was attentive. Drinks and food were good. Beaches were clean. 24/7 coffee & snacks.

We had a great time here, our 1st time in DR and we had an amazing time. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. From the reception to the beach side restaurant awesome. We definitely coming back

This was my second time at this property and must say it is one of my favorite in DR. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The beach here is everything. Special shout-out to the UVC VIP staff members Omar and Jennifer who made sure everything we did on and off property was top notch. We will definitely be back.

My stay here was phenomenal.

FOOD - The food was incredible (i ate at the Italian restaurant, seaside grill, the buffet, and the flying fish). Everyone was so nice and hospitable. Shout out to Juan Jose at Seaside Grill.

ROOM SERVICE: The room service came within a reasonable time period and was good.

GROUNDS - the grounds are well kept, gorgeous, luxurious and modern. No issues finding pool loungers. I really liked that the resort is quiet and that it’s not a big party scene.

BEACH - the water was somewhat cloudy, but still beautiful. Hard to snorkel.

ROOMS - both rooms I was in were gorgeous, clean, and modern. However, there was a small leak (in the first room) coming from the roof due to the heavy rainfall. They addressed the issue immediately and I was moved to a gorgeous suite in the preferred section. In the preferred suite, there was an issue with the shower not draining but it was fixed promptly. Other than these two things, everything was great.

I loved the private pool area in the preferred section, but the pool areas in the non preferred sections were great too.

I will absolutely stay here again. Highly highly highly recommend.

The beach is absolutely beautiful.

We just landed back home and let me tell you: best time! Food just outstanding, beach as clear as a glass of water, kids loved it! Our 3 year old spend the whole week in ocean enjoying every bit of it! People that work there are just a sunshine special thank you to our butler Steavens who made sure we have the best of the best and Mayelin and Tony at the preffered club are just sweethearts! Also waitress Yesenia at the buffet is a star! Everybody at this resort left us feeling special! Will definitely come back to enjoy beach life!

Very nice resort, beautiful pools, very good food, and one of the best beaches in Dominican Republic.

We stayed in the Preferred Club for 6 nights with kids and had a wonderful time! The rooms are spacious, up to date, clean, and excellent housekeeping from Rosa every day. It is a very family oriented resort and I highly recommend for families. The Preferred Club building isn’t as close to the beach so just be aware of this if you stay here with kids. However, this was fine because it had a family pool right outside! Franklin, bell hop, remembered our family the whole stay and went above and beyond. Joell and Josmeylin were 2 waiters that consistently provided excellent service. Robinson, Food & Beverage Manager, was seen frequently and the food exceeded our expectations.
I was surprised every day by the genuine friendliness of the staff and help they provided! There is plenty of staff. The beach is gorgeous with a few small rocks in the water but nothing requiring water shoes. I would love to bring our family here again and will recommend to others!

I was at this hotel this year (29/08 to 05/09) and I bring back very good memories. The hotel is excellent, the staff is very dedicated and professional, always attentive to everything so that we don't miss anything and that our experience is the best. The Hotel is very clean, the view is wonderful over the Caribbean Sea, the food is very good. We upgraded to Preferred Club, our room was very good and had a private pool, which delighted our son. Chef Marcelino was excellent, always very attentive to us and our son. His dishes are excellent and he prepared the best Ceviche we've ever tasted and we made a point of telling him about it. Before we left, Chef Marcelino made a point of making us his delicious Chevish one last time. Everyone on the hotel's animation team is excellent but I have to highlight the joy and friendliness of Bella and the Super Champion, always supporting us and making everyone happy.
Our maid Yvonne was excellent, she always left everything clean and smelling wonderful, not to mention how sweet she was to us and our son. A big thank you to RP Kaury Pimentel who was a dear in explaining a lot about the Dominican Republic, its people, traditions and above all for all her friendliness and simplicity.
A 5-star hotel that remains in our memory and will be missed. I recommend Dreams Dominicus La Romana 200%.

Had a great family vacation! We were warmly greeted and the staff was great throughout the entire trip. As a preferred member, we had a helper named Pedro, who made our stay smooth and fun! If any problem arose he was immediately on it and helped us with any questions we had. Overall, our stay was amazing.

I recently visited a resort that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities were immaculate and well-maintained, and the scenery was breathtaking. The resort offered a variety of activities, including water sports, and spa treatments, which kept me entertained throughout my stay. The food was also exceptional, with a diverse range of options that catered to different dietary preferences. Overall, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Many excellent food options. Extremely friendly staff. Snorkeling excursion through the company on the beach is superior to the experience we booked ourselves. You can trust the staff, even the vacation club discussions were cordial. Bring 200k if interested in that. Awesome trip though and entertainment was really impressive. They had a St. Patrick's Day program all throughout the day and it was great. Attentive to details with cleaning. Rooms were great. The family suites are a little far from the beach, not prohibitive but definitely not close. They will drive you over in a golf cart if you are feeling lazy or carrying a lot. That far side is much quieter though. Would definitely recommend and would consider returning
