La Catalina

Located in a very nice place, with a nice view, big garden and plenty of places for clients. Sometimes they also have live music, the design of the place is incredible nice, specially in the VIP part. The food is nice, what i have ordered wasn’t exactly on my taste, but my husband was happy with what he ordered. Tastes are different, doesn’t mean it was bad.

Went here for dinner. It was on top of 1 of the mountains. Beautiful landscape, some old cars on display. A zoo and playground for the kids! 😄

The sancocho is wonderful. If you like hearty stews with a lot of local flavor, please order this. You will thank me later.

My server Rudy was great. So lovely and professional.

The views were breathtaking, and the kids had a great time playing in the playground while we waited for the food.

Service was quite slow but in all fairness we were a large group. Excellent food, ambiance, and amenities. Loved the albino peacocks roaming freely around the property. Would visit again!

This must be my 10th time here. They are consistent with their quality over and over again. I'm absolutely in love with their food. The quality alone takes presidenc over anything else and they tackle that with ease. Service is fantastic. No need to say more. The selection of foods is absolutely on point and not overloaded. With that said I'm sure the chef has all his recepies on point simply because of that. The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal. From breathtaking views of the mountains to a gorgeous ocean view to the beautiful variety of exotic animals you, your family and those close to you will be in awe eating at this restaurant. I ordered the Pulpo starter. It was cooked perfectly with balanced flavors from potatoes to tomatoes. My main course was the 16 oz Tomahawk steak for one. It is delivered to your table sizzling and cooked to order. I had a few sides and washed it down with a Moscow Mule. Nothing but an amazing experience yet again. I cant express how important it is that you visit this restaurant when coming to Puerto Plata.

The service was super, I ordered the “T Bones” it’s an imported meet very delicious. It’s a very nice place to have dinner. And the wine too, very tasty.

Wow, everything about this place I love. It's Beautiful, the playground area for the kids is so cute my baby loved it, and the views, each detail of this place was so cute and traditional. The drinks were great and the food was so delicious. I actually when two times a week to this place. The first time was for dinner and the second time was for lunch.

WOW! Such an incredible restaurant! The drive from town is about 30-40 minutes but it is totally worth it. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and location is truly stunning. This restaurant left me with such a strong impression that I plan to return to dine in before I leave Puerto Plata. My new favorite restaurant in the northern part of Dominican Republic!!

Best place in the north coast I’ve ever been. The place is incredible. The settings and the views are breathtaking. The restaurant has various places to sit with different atmospheres and views. They have a full playground for kids. Monkeys and birds. Oh and a nice collection of cars. Let alone the food is great, way above other restaurants around. 100% recommended. Blindly.

Food and service was excellent! the scenery was breathtaking and the exotic animals and cars were also beautiful to look at, there is also a park for the kids to play in.
Tomahawk steak was amazing and cooked perfectly.
Seafood was excellent all in all we were a dozen people and everyone said they're food was delicious!

This restaurant is excellent. And the food OMG. We were celebrating my brother’s birthday and we ordered canasta mixta, tomahawk steak, parrilla mar y Tierra, parrilla de mariscos, caymus wine, expreso martini 🍸, beers, passion fruit juice, ceviche, croquetas de marisco etc. Really nice decoration. Is at El Cupey de Puerto Plata the land where my father was born, Enrique Rodriguez Cid. Definitely we’re coming back in our next vacation. Our waitress was Julissa Echavelier. She was excellent. And Jhon help us with our wine selection

Took my dad for his birthday and we loved everything about this paradise. Food, service and atmosphere was spectacular. The views are amazing. Little farm animals and playground are a great way to keep the kids entertained.

This restaurant is beautiful. The views are breathtaking, and the food is outstanding. The grounds are kept perfect, and the bird's monkeys are just amazing. I will be returning.

If you want to see Cher magnificent. La Catalina has it all. Awesome menu with everything that you would want great bar and friendly staff. Just to go in the grounds is an amazing experience The view is breathtaking. Make sure you go during the day and this is awesome place for a date. If you take the kids the playground is perfect Go and see the antique cars and all the wildlife that they have on the ground. You will not be disappointed

One of the most beautifull place I have been. the food , the drinks, the view , the atmosphere, the serve, was all 5 starts, it liked me soo much that I went 2 times the same week.

My wife and I went 3 times during our week in Puerto Plata. When we go back to DR, we will be visiting La Catalina again.

Incredible restaurant. Beautiful decor and 5 star service. Food menu is very broad, so there is something for everyone and they excel at all dishes. From appetizers, to seafood, to risotto, to insane Tomahawk steaks, I recommend everything. You pay premium for quality, and quality you receive.

The rissoto was lacking, but everything else was delicious! The view was magnificient, lots of places to take pictures at, playground for kids.
