I've been coming to Puerto Plata for almost a decade and somehow hadn't tried las palmas until recently but have been back several times now - formally correct service that's still friendly, good wine, great fresh cheese including burrata, and some fresh pasta options. Plus a beautiful setting dripping with lush plants.

Delicious food and lovely garden setting make for a winning combination for Las Palmas! The entrada of carpaccio de res was fresh and tasty with plenty of capers. I had the pasta with bacon, vodka and pink sauce…delicious! The white wine was served appropriately chilled too. We’ve been here before and will return again

Very good food, beautiful atmosphere and venue

We ordered pizza completo and bolognese pasta and the food was delicious! I enjoyed The atmosphere a lot as the restaurant is tucked away behind beautiful vegetation and landscape that is on the property. I recommend to dine here!

The food was very very delicious.
Everything was fresh. The portions were big. Pizza and pasta had a lot of ingredients. The price was affordable.

This place is a must when visiting Puerto Plata. Excellent pizza, gnocchi, meat carpaccio, coffee, etc. Service is great, and the location is beautiful.

We just celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary in that lovely side area they created. We had 30 guests and every need was quickly taken care of. The food was wonderful and served buffet style. It was a magical evening. Thank you Las Palmas

Excellent attention, awesome food even have vegan plates. The place is fresh, casual and clean. A family place that I will be definitively coming back.

This is my second time there. Though I loved it the first time, in my second visit I wasn't impressed. Service is great, ambiance feels like heaven but the food lacked. The lasagna had an odd flavor. I won't stop me from dining there because it could've been a one time thing.

Clean, very nicely laid out with a garden area to sit or walk through. Friendly service was here previously. Good portions foe the price, and very tasty. Will visit again, oh and some staff speaks some english.

Good atmosphere, very quiet and relax place, I recomend to try shrimp risotto with mushroom it was amazing, and mojito as well, is a place for a romantic dinner

We love this place, come here all the time when in town, I was never disappointed with the food or service here. The grounds are gorgeous and give off a relaxed exotic feel. Also plenty of parking available. The sign however could be made a bit more visible, easy to miss if you don’t know exactly where you going!

Beautiful scenery, well prepared food. So nice eating pizza from a stone oven. 😋 Staff and ownership are very attentive and know what is customer service.

Amazing amazing place!! After staying at a horrible all inclusive resort in puerto plata that the food was inedible we ventured outside of the resort and found this gem of a restaurant. The place is spectacular. The grounds are immaculate makes you feel like your in some exotic place. On top of that the food was to die for. I had the churrasco and my wife had the pizza and it was delicious! Not always do you find a place that is both luxurious but the food also taste great. Go now you won’t regret it. Anthony from NYC
