Awesome architecture and immersive experience ! It's a blast discovering this amazing place in the forest, worth the trip ! An SUV car is recommended for the bumpy dirt road

I loved this place! It was like you were staying in the middle of the mountains, waterfalls everywhere, gorgeous scenery, gravel roads, all natural! I really felt in peace. The rooms where so well made, I never seen a anything like it. Its a cabin really, same room was so tall it was divided in two by a wooden stair case, one bed on bottom floor, & upstairs as well. Me and my wife decided to sleep on the top bed and it was surprisingly more comfortable.

They serve you breakfast lunch and dinner. The slight “issue” really is you can only eat what they have at the restaurant and the small menu is same for everyday so if you are staying a couple nights, maybe plan to bring fave snack or un-perishable foods to eat because there is no other place close by.
Overall we had an amazing experience, definitely will recommend to friends & family.

Difficult to get there (horrible road) but definitely worth it! It was a magical place. We loved listening to great music that was at most times in the restaurant. We went on our honeymoon and they gave us an awesome Catalan cava to celebrate it! Awesome food and people. Incredible natural pools. We would definitely come back despite the road and we would have stayed even longer!

amazing unique location, natural pools and beautiful scenery

a few things:
- road here is basically nonexistent, we took a car but should avoid vehicles that can't handle a muddy trail
- no ATM anywhere close, bring cash for excursions, tips, etc
- take an excursion or two!! guide is incredible and so is scenery

the two hotels are joined, honestly not sure why they consider it two but I think this one had nicer views, you can use amenities at both from either

We went there on may it was amazing, the rooms are customized and named after some of the endemic birds that live within the project; the view from our room was a such a perfect landscape to watch the sunset/rise ❤. Food was delicious! we purchased Los Haitises tour spectacular view on the way from the mangroves to the Taino caves 😍 I’m going back oh yeah.

This place is cool. Jungle sounds. hammock in your room. 5 min from National park. Fresh water swimming pools. We really liked this picturesque lodge.

Food👌it was really good and tasty prop to the cooks. Ruth and Jordy they really are the best.. It really is a Great place to disconnect. And don't forget to go see nature with Wilfre in one of their excursions..

However or first room bed was very unfcomfortable they where very good in acomodating us. its really hard to get a signal

Good place to stay & enjoy but the travel won’t be good experience. Try to book too early on holiday seasons. Best place to took the boat ride & roam around samana with normal pay.

Excelente lugar para parejas, todo muy bien... limpieza, organización, las piscinaturarles muy muy bonitas y bien mantenidas... pero la comida es 1a... buen lugar muy recomendable...

Posdata: la distancia se te olvida cuando conoces el lugar

Cuando vas a altos de caño hondo debes tener tus expectativas claras, es un hotel de ecoturismo y en eso se ganan TODOS los puntos. Excelentes habitaciones dentro de su mercado, excelente comida y servicios, excelente ubicación con hermosas vistas y tranquilidad. Me gustaría que pusieran una piscina mas cerca (no tener que bajar a paraiso caño hondo) pero entiendo que es porque es natural y no utilizan bombas para esto.
