Go Dive Bayahibe

We did the snorkeling experience in the Chicho cenote with Gaelle & Julien, and it was a great excursion.

The little hike through the jungle was fun and showed us interesting local flora and fauna (we ran into a pack of goats!) and the cenote was really cool to explore. We loved the balance of telling us some of the history and geology and showing us some interesting spots, with giving us enough time to swim around and explore by ourselves.

The team seemed solid and knowledgeable, hence I would definitely recommend, and wouldn’t mind returning to dive the cenote, or possibly getting my full cave diver certification here.

Scuba Diving with Gaelle and Julien was incredible! They took excellent care of us on 2 days, 4 open water dives in Bayahibe and Saona Island. Vincenzo was our dive master the first day; and we loved his infectious positive energy and love of life. The captain was also very sweet and helpful with the equipment, we highly recommend this dive shop! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I had a wonderful experience learning to dive with Iris and Mark. Iris was my teacher during all the certification dives and she is extremely patient and competent. I am a cautious person, but she put me entirely at my ease and made me feel completely safe with her.

Once I was certified, I joined my more experience friends on a number of dives with Mark and Iris. It was amazing - we saw so many different animals including turtles and moray eels and gigantic pufferfish. The corals are in good shape in the areas that we dived - it was beautiful!

The boat we used was specially designed by Mark for diving - it has a large shade covering and we were very comfortable in the time between dives and in getting to and from the dive sites. Iris and Mark are really fun and interesting people - they are passionate about diving and are involved in conservation projects to help preserve corals. They definitely go above and beyond to make the diving experience awesome - I really appreciated all the pictures and videos they took of our dives.

We stayed at the resort (Cadaques) where the dive shop is located, so we we were just steps from the boat. The whole area of Bayahibe has beautiful, clear beaches perfect for swimming after dives. It was a great experience - I highly recommend Iris and Mark’s shop for both beginners and more experienced divers!

Professional, experienced, sociable and passionate polyglots with tons of diving knowledge. I did my open water and advanced adventure diver courses here and from the first e-mail to the last goodbye they have been nothing but nice and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, neighbour, backpacker, holiday enjoyer or simple bystander!

100% use these guys. Great service from start to finish. The team are superb, the diving sites were quite and very good and the price was unmatchable for the quality of service that was provided. 90 Dollars for 2 dives, whereas my hotel was charging 170 dollars.

My warmest recommendations for Julien and Gäelle!
First I did the Discover Scuba Diving and then decided to do the Open Water Diver certification. I stayed in Bayahibe during the low tourism season, so I was the only student and Julien was professional, competent and attentive. I’d never done any diving before, and I am a cautious person, so I was a little anxious at the beginning. During my certification, Julien made sure to challenge me at just the right pace, so I got outside my comfort zone and learnt a lot. By day 3 I felt completely calm and at ease while diving at 17 metres, enjoying the amazing underwater world.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the most incredible dive school experience at GoDive Bayahibe. Me and my 14y old daughter did our open water diver course as well as our advanced open water diver course. My 10y old son did 2 exploration dives under the close supervision of an experienced instructor (Gaelle).From start to finish, I was completely blown away by the professionalism, expertise, and sheer excitement that this dive school had to offer. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly give them a well-deserved five-star rating!

Incredible week with Gaëlle and Julien! Having had experience with many operations in my life, I can confidently say that this is one of the best ones out there. The dive sites are amazing and varied, equipment is in great condition and the hospitality of Gaëlle and Julien is unmatched. They are professional, safety oriented, caring and fun to be around (they also speak french, english, spanish and german, which should give you a good idea of the kind of professionals they are). The dives were personalized and in small groups which really adds to the experience as everything is more relaxed and you actually get to know and chat with everyone.

Me and my friend did our cavern diver certification with Julien and he is the kind of instructor everyone should have. He is by the books and won't let mistakes slip, he gives great advice and is patient with his students. Diving under his teachings really improved our respective techniques. I highly recommend him if you are looking for any type of certification.

It was a beautiful experience, not only for the owners' professionalism, but also for their friendliness. They gave us tips about other things to do in Bayahibe too. Both (Gaëlle and her partner, sorry I don't remember his name!) were thorough and attentive to their divers. We were 7, 9 with them, so a very manageable number. It is nice to be taken well care of. The equipment is excellent too! Strongly recommended

We had a beginners discovery dive with Gaelle and Julien. It was awesome! They explained everything in detail to us (in German) and answered all of our our questions. We really enjoyed this experience and we even got amazing photos and videos from them which is a perfect memory of this day. Thank you!

I was very lucky that Iris and Mark was my first instructors. Very professional, enthusiastic, nice people. I’ll definitely recommend school for everybody, especially somebody who never did dive but wants to try. You will feel 100% safe all the time. I’m now totally hooked up for diving. My husband and I had a great diving experience with Iris and Ricardo. We decided to do our advanced diver certification because they inspired confidence right from the start. The dive sites were amazing including shipwreck with lots of corals and fish. Great instructors and the learning activities were well embedded with the actual dives so we didn’t get the impression that we were doing a certification but rather that we were doing dives. We drove in many countries in the world and this has been one of the best loving experience we ever had. We were only the two of us on the small private boat and after the two days of diving they sent us pictures and videos free of charge. We have never seen so much attention from a dive shop before. We will come again for sure!

My son and I dove with Iris and Mark of Go Dive Bayahibe for four days and we had a wonderful time! Iris and Mark are very experienced and passionate about diving. Their boat "Bubble" is awesome and so is its Captain Angel. They also took us out for dinner, which was really nice. Highly recommended! You cannot go wrong with Go Dive Bayahibe!

Best diving in a long time. Perfect conditions. Nice relaxing dives to fun easy dives. I performed a specialty dive with Julian, and he was excellent. I also dove with Tibo (tebow) and he was also excellent. The staff is Swiss and speak fluently in several languages. I will dive with them again next week to Saona Island. They don't take credit cards, only cash.

Great experience!!! Mark and Iris made our diving a one of a kind dive. We saw tons of creatures but the most memorable was a dive with a group of manatees!!! Unforgettable experience and the video that Mark took will be shown many times for years to come.
