Scubacaribe - Dreams Dominicus La Romana

We went to Catalina Island on a day tour. Good snorkeling and very nice beach to hang out on. Buffet lunch was fine, had vegetarian options, also open bar. Another highlight was the trip along the coast and up the Chavon River.
The captain and crew of the boat made the trip. Very fun and attentive. Highly recommend.

I didn't stay at one of the main hotels, and booked the "Catalina Island Snorkel" package the night before we did it. It sounded a bit too good to be true. Although it technically doesn't open until 9, we were supposed to show up at 8:30, but they managed to get us on a boat anyway.
They took us to "the wall" which was coral teeming with all kinds of fish, then to Catalina island where they had an open bar (rum with your choice of coke, sprite, or a beer) and souvenirs for sale. Then there was an opportunity to enjoy the beach, or go to the outdoor "aquarium" which had sting rays, starfish, and a sea turtle.
They then served a pretty hearty meal, with plenty of food for seconds. The view of the beach was beautiful, then on the way back they had more rum and coke on the boat, and took us a bit inside the Chavón River which was really neat. A great experience and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

My wife and I took the ScubaCaribe trip to Saona Island today. It was an extreme pleasure from beginning to end. The staff were all friendly, and informational when examining the islands history. The food/drinks once on the Island were perfect, and the few hours of relaxation on the island was a nice break from the rush of the Resort.

We took a giant Catamaran on our way back, and my wife and I laid on the front netting area which was amazing. Staff got some dance music going, and they were great at getting everyone involved in dancing, teaching those who didn't know, the dances to certain songs. Highly highly recommend this adventure to anyone who goes to Dreams La Romana, as it was probably the most fun, yet relaxation we've had our on entire trip so far. Andy and his team are all amazing. *cheers*

Highlight of the week long trip. Had Fernando take us round. Lovely chap and great team. Highly recommend. Also worth the money as opposed to trip with viator to Isla saona which was trashy.

The people were friendly, accommodating and happy to assist in any way! Going back next year, had the best time with the family! The Dominican dishes were delicious! Mango and salchichon and the soup was a traditional Sancocho!

Did scuba with them. Had 10yr old son. Great experience, great instructors. Transfer to and from small boat to big one was rough inside the sea though.

Very friendly staff. The prices of the services are also reasonable. The dive sites are close to the diving center. We also went on a trip to the island of Catalina with them, where we did two beautiful dives and my wife was able to enjoy the beautiful beach.

We passed our Padi there with the instructor Laura and it was... perfect !
She's really patient, friendly and take the time so that we felt really confident! We couldn't have dreamt a better instructor to do our first dives.
We were not sleeping at the Dominicanus, so we went there only for the dives and is was just great and beautiful !

We just came here with my wife from bahia principe la romana to spend 3 nights believe me when I say there is no comparison between the two and am an expert on traveling
Dreams would leave that resort for behind from food to service to restaurants we will definitely be back with my kids

we did the Catalina island and snorkeling excursion, we had a great time! The crew was fantastic, and really made the trip enjoyable, they did a great job!

Did Catalina Island with this company, the tour was as explained, the staff was friendly and we had a lot of fun. The coral reef had numerous colorful fish.

This place is unbelievably beautiful, and the people treat you like family!! We will definitely make a return trip in the near future!!

I loved the professional and very friendly Team. Especially the Open water diving course with Berlin was amazing and I learned a lot. Looking forward to come to this very soon again :)

So much fun! Loved the boat ride, seeing all the coral, fish, & shipwreck through the windows below! Snorkeling was also fun.

I’m so happy with my experience at Scubacaribe Dreams Dominicus. I did the PADI refresh with Laura. Then, we did 2 dives with Berlin as Dive Master, I can tell he was great and had lot of patience with some people who was struggling to equalise. I really recommend this place as they follow all PADI best practices and keep you safe during the activity.

Free rum all day what a tour do not moss this one.
