Beautiful and big cave, very quiet and no artificial light. It feels off the beaten track since we were there alone with a totally empty dark cave. The walk to get to the cave takes 1 hour, good walk where we saw beautiful butterflies small lizards, a couple of beautiful birds and the walk is over old corals.

Very cool cave to explore. It is cavernous to say the least. You will need a flashlight or cell phone torch. It might be a challenging hike to get there for some people. Fee was $5 per person, but I'm not sure if the park is actually being maintained by staff.

It's about a 1.5 mi (2.5 km) hike from the ranger station over sand and rocky path with a couple mild scrambles (inclines). The cave is wonderful. Maybe 500m to the far end reminiscent of a cinote with the sun shining down and roots coming from the forest above.
Remember extra water and headlamp. It wasn't very buggy but bug repellent was beneficial. The cave floor is a bit sticky dirty. I loved finding a couple bats sleeping through the heat of the day. Take some time to adjust to the darkness in the cave and enjoy!

Wonderful cave. Worth the approx. a one-hour hike from the entrance of the national park. A ticket must be purchased at the entrance. You can't get lost, take the coastal path forward for about 10 minutes and then turn left into the woods. The path leads straight to the cave. Torch, lamp required.

Great cave... abolutely topped my expectations. We we're lucky and were the only ones there. Saw a lot of bats and a tarantula inside. Don't forget to bring flashlights since only bringing you phone light is not quite enough.

1-1,5 hour walk going and back. Don't forget your flashlight like I did! There was a guy sitting at a beach house and he told me I had to pay 5 USD to enter. It was strange because it didn't look like an official entry point and because you can basically enter the forest from a side path from the beach

Incredible non-commercialized cave. $4US per person to access the path that is the beginning of a 2 mile walk into the rainforest to reach the opening. The walk alone is amazing (not every day you get to walk through a rainforest). The walk is over rocks and difficult terrain, but our 9 year old was able to make it without a problem. The caves are amazing and large. A flashlight or cell phone flashlight is required, but their are enough openings that you won't need to worry about getting lost. Well with the walk. We spent just over three hours walking to the caves, exploring, and walking back.

This a really nice hike that begins right next to Cadaques. It took us about an hour and fifteen minutes to make it to the cave with two preschoolers that rode on shoulders a decent amount. The trail is pretty good and very easy to follow with several shelters interspersed to take a break but I would recommend taking the beach back. Pack plenty of water. The walk itself is beautiful but the cave is great — it stretches into the hillside quite a ways with a number of large chambers to explore. In the center a large section of the roof has collapsed making a really pretty mix of cave/sun/plants. Deeper in the cave there are bats, if that is an issue, but we didn’t bother them and they returned the favor. Easily could spend a day if you really want to get dirty crawling into some of the smaller tunnels but a half day (including the hike) should be enough for most.

Hi! This is a nice cave. First you need to pass through a dark part then your reach a hole in the roof with a beam of light - looks cool! Then passing further in the dark you can reach a wide hall with sky above and trees coming down from the surface - Indiana Jones experience! Proper tracking shoos is a must.

Lovely path along the coast, then through dense dry coastal forest. Path is well marked, however still a forest path! At the entrance a fee of 100 pesos is charged by a path guardian. The path is beautiful. At the end is the cave, quite small at the entrance and becoming larger and larger until a vast chamber with the roof open and trees casting their roots 30ft down into the cave. Awesome!
Stalagmites and Stalactites signifying the cave to be a lime cave

It’s very nice place! Very long way to walk, around 5km one way, better wearing good shoes and going early in the morning. Many mosquitoes!
