Hotel Kaoba

Before coming here, i did my research.. This building is a classic! Do not be intimidated by the sound of the main street as behind this hidden gem there is a vast amount of real state and great privacy. I stayed for one night at Bungalow 15. Invited my friends and had a blast! The plants and gardening were a treat just walking by and flooring for the pool seemed to be renovated . I understand that it's under new management and i hope they keep up the great work because I'm looking forward to staying here in my future endeavors. Thank you Kaoba!!!

Everything about this hotel is great! If you read some old reviews about dogs, take note those are from when the hotel had another owner.... I was also biased until i stayed there in February this year...

Stayed there again for a month this time October -November and i am very satisfied with everything...

1. Location vs Price
You are located right in the beginning of the main street and no other hotel with such amenities will match their price

2. Staff
All of them make you feel at home 🤗😘 they were also a huge part of my vacation...

3. Amenities
I had an apartment with a kitchen and 2 rooms. The room is comfy and it has everything for a basic stay. The pool area is the highlight... They have a cozy lounge area where i had many dance practices and classes

4. Everything! Just everything!

AMAZING!!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND! Kid friendly! Literally 2 steps away from the beach. Amazing place! Great pool. And the people are so nice. I definitely recommend bringing you family there!!!!!!

Couldn’t have had a better time during my Spring Break! Woohoo! I went along with some friends to Kaoba, by the recommendation of other friends who had stayed here before. They pointed us straight to Alberto for all of our needs. We were delighted with our rooms and all of the amenities. But Alberto’s attentiveness was above and beyond! He was always friendly and kind, and recommended ways in which we could get around Cabarete. I am looking forward to coming back in the summer! Thanks, Alberto! See you soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Kaoba, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. From start to finish, it was a truly memorable stay.

The accommodations were top-notch, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile.

What truly sets this resort apart is its proximity to the "Cabarete Strip". The location was perfect, offering easy access to several restaurants, shops, and the breathtaking beach. It struck the right balance between tranquility and convenience.

I left feeling rejuvenated and already planning my return. This resort hotel offers an exceptional experience for a very reasonable price! I can't wait to come back and enjoy another wonderful stay.

Under new management and the care is noticeable. There’s active investment and projects to keep improving the property and plans to open the restaurant soon (only air conditioning restaurant in town). Great location within steps of the beach, caring staff and inviting space. This place will only keep improving. Check out before prices go up!

I love this hotel for its vibes, pet-friendly warmth and pool. The rooms can use a little TLC but the beds are comfy and clean and the ACs and fans work well.

Everyone is nice-- especially friendly Alberto!

- The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Let me name Alberto. He is very cool and always on his toes.

- The rooms are nice and clean.

- Bars, restaurants and supermarket are within walking distance.

- They are dog friendly. :)

- The garden/pool area is very beautiful and quiet.

All in all a great place to stay. Would recommend it to all my friends and family.

Ownership has changed. No more dogs in the lobby. If you're reading tons bad reviews, then you're probably still getting great value for money while they're getting the updated reviews in. It's a clean an cozy little boutique hotel with caring staff members. Best part of it is the beautiful and secluded pool and chill area.

Location is great, we only needed to cross the road to be by the beach!

We walked to coffee shops, supermarket, money exchange, and restaurants.

This place is just what I needed!!! Affordable, Close to beaches and attractions but also with a feeling of privacy and seclusion.
I was relaxed and energized. This hotel had everything I needed and the staff was so pleasant and very welcoming.

I very much enjoyed my experience at El Kaoba! Super friendly staff and it was beautiful and peaceful scenery, just like walking into a tropical oasis. The price and the location are the verified best in town! (I saw the restaurant they have is opening!) Needless to say, recommend yes 🤟🏼🤟🏽

I recently stayed at Hotel Kaoba in Cabarete, and it left a lasting impression. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel extremely welcomed. The hotel's affordability, cleanliness, and reliable WiFi were standout features.

The pool area was a personal favorite, providing a perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach.

I love to travel around the Dominican Republic, and El Kaoba has always been my top choice when I have want to visit Cab! Cabarete is a place where I am always doing something either water sports, wandering around its nearby towns or simply being at the beach, when you finish all this activities this hotel has the perfect energy for relaxing afterwards in its beautiful pool! Top location in the center of town walking distance to the beach. Oh! And its a dog friendly space too and its almost opening a restaurant!

Excellent hotel with excellent location located in the center of all the excitement. Extremely clean & comfortable. I enjoyed being so close to the beach. Can’t wait to go back.

I had a great time at Kaoba it was great location right by the beach. I was a little disappointed in the timing of my trip because I saw they were about to open the restaurant which looks amazing! The tan was really nice and it was a really cozy experience.

Hotel was clean and a great deal for the price. I go to Cabarete all the time and I always stay at el Kaoba. The new renovations have really transformed the hotel. I can’t wait for the restaurant to be open next month. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cabarete.

Location, location, location. If you are searching for a destination on the road less traveled Hotel Kaoba is your destination. Conveniently located just a few hundred feet from surf, food, nightlife or just a relaxing walk. The price is also very reasonable. I talked to another visitor and he comes here for the value. Lastly, the staff can help you with any request, know the area and our quick to please. I could have stayed at Hotel Kaoba longer.
