We stayed here for only one night, and we will go back, if we can!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and Isaias, the bartender was super lovely and made very good music at the bar. :)

Yo this place is a hidden gem. I recommend you check this place out. Very nice and up to date at a reasonable price. I’m definitely going back in the future.

Luke, the manager is a rock star. Also had the opportunity to speak with the owner who was very helpful. The rooms were good, beds and pillows excellent, AC cold. Food was good, lots of options. Beach is a 10 minute walk, the strip of bars a 5 minute drive. Cant say enough about the staff, they were great.

I loved it here. Everyone was very nice, respectful. I made friends there. The chef cooks amazing. Everyone was very accommodating. I felt important. When I come back to Cabarete definitely coming back here. I love you guys. Rooms are clean. Pool was clean. Everyone was so helpful. It's all about customer service and for that they get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ five stars from me.

Small resort where you can easily be 'all inclusive' or just book the room which includes a full kitchen.
We preferred the 'older side' of the resort and did a combination of cooking for ourselves and finding great local restaurants.
Benoit, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating.
For a small fee, a shuttle in and out of Cabarete is available in order to pick up groceries and access restaurants and shopping.
One of the 'must do's' is a walk down the beach to la Boca Wilson. Fabulous half hour beach walk, short boat ride to Wilson's, and a freshly cooked local dishes. Wilson himself can help you with any excursions you want to do in the area.

The only negative thing is that it is a 12 min walk down through a village to the beach. If it is a gorgeous, non built up walking beach that you are looking for.... totally worth the walk.

We had a group of 11 with adults and kids which we stayed for 3 nights with the V.I.P. service and we was all treated great from first to last day. The food was great with a lot of options for all three meals. Kids enjoyed the food, pool, and adults enjoyed the VIP pool area as well. Very family friendly … planning to come back again this summer

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this intimate and modern resort. At first, I was a little hesitant in going there since I read a few bad reviews about this place. However, I don't see how those people could have left those negative comments since they weren't accurate. Everything was just perfect! At the exit of the airport, we were greeted by a gentleman who had a big sign with our names on it. He brought us directly to the resort. Upon entering the resort, we were greeted by the staff who quickly took our luggage and offered us a complimentary welcome cocktail while checking in. The room was super clean and spacious. Very modern and well equipped. We didn't feel like we were in a third world country. We had WiFi, a/c and purified drinking water. The ambiance was very nice with entertaining music, The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and at night, it's illuminated with different colors of light. Very Vegas style and romantic! I was a little hesitant to buy the all inclusive since I like to eat at different restaurants. But I was pleasantly surprised since the menu is so big and I didn't even get the chance to try everything during my 1 week stay. It felt like I was at a different restaurant every night. The food is excellent and it was really worth buying the all inclusive. One day we went outside of the resort to do some exploring. We stopped at a little place to eat by the beach and it cost us 30$ for a small pizza. Thank-God we bought the all inclusive! The staff is really nice and the place is really clean. The owner is sometimes there and he is very attentive and wants to make sure all the guests are happy. We also went to visit the Phoenix # 1 which is next door. It's also a very nice resort. It's not as modern as the new Phoenix but it is also very tropical and cozy. We met many nice people from different places in the world.
I also treated myself to a massage and manicure/pedicure. Again, it was fabulous.
Since we enrolled in their VIP membership, we will definitely return in the near future!.Thank-you to all the staff of Phoenix Spa & Resort for our wonderful stay!! We will see you soon!!

The owner of this resort went out of his way to ensure my fiancé and myself were very well taken care of. Every employee treated us with an astronomical amount of respect and truly cared for our needs. Because of the weather, we had to stay three extra days and the owner worked with us because of our budget as we are both 19 years old. We both will definitely be returning to this resort on our next visit to the Dominican Republic.

I have nothing but good to say. The staff is amazingly helpful. Easily best customer service I’ve ever experienced. The room was clean and the amenities were as described. They had a roasted pig one evening which was delicious. I could go on and on. Highly recommend!

This was probably once a very fancy resort but you can tell the area has declined in recent years. The employees still do what they can to make sure you enjoy your vacation. Both pool areas are well maintained. We preferred the smaller pool on the north side of the resort as it offered more shaded areas so we could continue to enjoy the outdoors even after we had got too much sun. Also, the bar/restaurant by the lazy river is constantly blasting loud music. Most of the time, the music is pleasant but sometimes it has a heavy-duty repeatative bass beat that is more conducive to causing headaches than relaxing.

Jeff D, my dad, stayed there in early may.
He raved about to ultra professional staff. Unlike the other resorts, he liked the balance of local influences mixed with luxury style accommodations.
He was thrilled at the availability of drivers when he wanted to explore locally he was always accommodated.
If you want a departure from the regimented, ultra strict resorts, he gave it rave reviews

I would give this hotel about 4.2 to 4.5 star. I liked the fact that the room comes with a full kitchen. Also What i liked best here is that the restaurant of the hotel makes really good food, so much better than expected or elsewhere I have experienced on trips.
I did have to remove a plastic cover for the mattress, but the hotel manager/in-charge didn't mind. The quilt cover is way too thick for the weather in the region. But these are small concerns. And they r very accomendating to our needs. It's a bit far from the best snorkeling beaches if thats what u r interested, and the private beach of the hotel is about 10min walk(not for snorkeling), but since we have different activities and outings all booked up for the stay, it doesn't make much a difference on the location, u r going out to different places everyday anyhow..

Loved the very quiet and peaceful atmosphere here. it is not fancy but it is clean and the food is absolutely delicious, it tastes like homemade food. There are not too many people at the beach, at times me and my husband had it to ourselves. The staff is absolutly amazing!very helpful and friendly. Worth the money

Book it. Place was very clean and the customer service and employees were outstanding. Generator back up and lots of wifi. Most importantly,The food was excellent. Especially for an all inclusive in the Domonican Republic. I was there on business but will definetly revisit on my own time. A lot of bang for the buck here.

The resort is cozy and has two parts to it. One side is chiq and modern. The other is classical and beautiful. Being on the smaller side, you truly feel the personal touch from every staff member. The owner, Benoit, is willing to do anything to make your stay better. If there was something that wasn't to our liking, he was quick to help us. He even got the chef to make a special cheesecake just for my girlfriend and I. We came in the off season, which was nice and quiet. We were able to use the VIP hot tubs since no one was there. We also went on an amazing horseback ride with Wilson, the tour guide. Wilson also took us to an unbelievable zipline over a freshwater pool. Truly magnificent. If you're looking for a personalized, relaxing vacation, this is the place for you!

Excellently perfect. I love this hotel. They treat you with respect and love. Very lovely people and friendly. Rooms are clean and in good conditions and everything is working. The kitchen is neat and you got all you need to cook but you got to buy yout fopd stuffs ofcourse. It has very nice relaxing bed and the seats in the sitting room is good and comfortable. Is my second time here and i love it. Visitors are allowed on the other side of the hotel for people who did not booked all inclusive. I will keep coming here anytime i visit cabarete. Its 15mins drive to sosua. And 5mins drive to cabarete beach.

As far as the bartenders and staff, absolutely amazing. Best people I have ever met and I travel. Helpful, fun and attentive. Was a little sad as the lazy river was empty. Was one of the biggest reasons I picked this place. My only disappointment. Food was great. Dribks were good. I really like Presedente on tap. All their recommendations were on point. I will be back

I have traveled the world. I have visited many big hotels and stayed in many air bnb. By far, I felt the family and warmth environment from the owner and the staff. The meals were better than 5 star hotels and I will return. I truly believe I made new life long friends in Cabarete
