Den Gamle Købmandsgaard

I would say that it is a bazaar where one finds soft drinks, alcohol of all sorts, and other items.
I had the feeling that is the meeting place of the whole city during summer, but during this cold month of February it was quite empty, however the sweetness of cakes and tea makes one feels warm and welcome in this only open café in town.

Loveliest staff which always make one feel very welcomed. Vegan and veggie options and always freshly maked/baked goods.
On top as I said the staff is so so nice! Will surely come back every time I visit Ærø.

We had a phantastic breakfast on our wedding day in Ærøskøbing in Den Gamle Købmandsgaard. The food and drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and „hygge“, everybody was so friendly and welcoming - we even had a special decoration on our table. Thank you to everybody!

My husband & i’s go-to for oat milk latte’s in the morning! Aero sweatshirts, shirts & hats for souvenirs as well as so many other options throughout their adorable shop. Organic local wines as well! The staff was all consistently incredible & sweet. Outdoor & indoor seating to have a bit of their yummy food options to snack on & relax. We absolutely loved it here!

Wonderful cozy cafe. I got the homemade bread bun with local cheese and jam and a yummy hot chocolate for breakfast.

Incredible vibes here! Great food, shopping, and ambiance. Hot chocolate was fine but the grilled ham and cheese was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Lovely and friendly personnel and great drinks. Very cozy and they sell awesome products as well. I am sure you get this a lot but we will definitely come back, again and again. 😊

The cafe is located right in the city center, offers all variety of crafts, soviniers and local liquors that you want to take with you. A bit on the expensive side but the staff is polite and attentive and has good variety of danish desserts and coffee. The cafe is nicely decorated and sells local clothing brands, handmade soaps and other household items including cutlery. Its a great place to meet new and local people and have a interaction.

Such a lovely place. Perfect place to celebrate with bubbles right after wedding!

We went to this place straight away after our wedding and is pretty nice. They have nice beer, nice whiskey and sandwiches. We took some pictures inside. The staff is pretty kind

Great food. Great service. A delight to visit and when I arrived on Sunday and the social media said they were closed they were infact open. Certainly worth the Gambol. Thanks.

Lots of wonderful local and organic products to choose from. The lunch they have is always very tasty with locally grown produce! It has also great wifi in case you need to use it for work ;)

We stumbled upon this place in Ærøskøbing. Delicious lunch platter and open faced sandwich with chicken salad. Everything home made with mostly local produce. Herring with snaps recommended!

The place where to town's people come together. Lots of relaxed patrons with their families, excellent cappuccino and locally made caramels. A wide selection of highly prized house spirits. We kept returning again and again on the few days we were in Æroskobing 😊

We had our wedding lunch here and it was just amazing. Really nice food and phenomenal service👌
