Incredible indian food and awesome service. Its very authentic and homemade food, so dont expect anything fancy, but tastewise is the most delicious indian I have had in Copenhagen so far. Very small dine-in place, since its made mostly for take away, but still a very pleasant experience.

Absolute hidden gem of a restaurant. Incredible authentic Indian food. Definitely in the top 1% of Indian Restaurants in Copenhagen. Stays open late, which is a key added bonus.

I tried Indian Shehnai after trying 5-6 different Indian restaurants in City. In my opinion, the food served here is the most authentic version of north Indian cuisine that I have been able to find in Copenhagen till now.
I tried the chicken curry and Palak paneer. Both the dishes were made Dhaba style, which was a huge plus for me.

The chef is a super friendly and I like the family run restaurant vibe.

I definitely will be visiting again.

I have to say, i had the best authentic pakistani chicken curry and lahori naan, reminds me of my mom's recipe. Would love to visit again if we ever visit copenhagen again. A must visit place for the food that too with economical budget. I really liked talking to owner and his hospitality. For sure will remember the taste and love.

In a city where Indian food is mediocre and overpriced, The Indian Shehnai stands out. The food here is delicious, packed with spices and worthy of Brick Lane. The place isn’t much to look at, but they know what they’re doing. Tip top take away, highly recommended.

Been here twice now and both times had incredible curries! Really the best Indian I’ve had in CPH in 10 years. The family that runs it are super friendly. Might not look like much from outside but the food is really worth stepping in for.

Aside from the food being amazing and incredibly delicious, we highly recommend eating here for the lovely chef and staff who will always make you feel welcome. We’ll always remember their hospitality and kindness and nice conversation.
As vegetarians we had the most tasty dishes and very good portions as we had to take some home even though we had pigged out.

Really nice people and delicious food! Excellent butter chicken and really good mango drink. We eat inside but is a bit little, they do take away. If you go to Copenhagen don’t miss this gem!

This was the best Indian food I have had in my life, and easily was the best food I ate while visiting Copenhagen. The chef and his son were so kind and hospitable that it just made the whole experience extra enjoyable. The chicken korma was so tender and full of flavor. I will be telling everyone I know to try this place!
