Tropikariet

The biggest surprise of our trip to Helsingborg was how incredible Tropikariet was! 😍 We had quite low expectations and when we saw the entry price we felt it was a bit high, but when we then saw the incredible animals and wonderful exhibits, we completely felt that it was worth it all! 🙏 There are a lot of free roaming animals and plenty of things to see and touch.😄 Everyone was very friendly and they take great care of their animals 👏We had a blast for two hours and could probably spend even more time there next time. 😀

The staff does a great job. All animals look healthy and happy. Recommend for all ages. There is plenty of parking and you can have some food here. There are places to park prams, but you can also walk around with them as there is an elevator. Remember to dress lightly because it's very warm inside. There is wardrobe room for jackets.
Staff will let you pet some of the creatures. There is even fish tanks that you can dip your hand in.
Plan to spend here max 3 hours.

Absolutely amasing, interesting for both kids and adults. They have rooms where monkeys, birds and bats roam free. Also Aquarium where you can put your hand in the water and touch the fish and criters.

Great place to visit. Kids love the place. Different animals. Very friendly, not afraid of people. They come to look at you, very cute.
They have sharks and different exotic animals.
I ll definitely come back there.

Such a small building with a lot of animals and things to see and learn
We were taken by surprise when entering the place, it's so spacious and smartly designed for customers to explore.
All the animals look comfortable enough, some can fly and play freely in open spaces.
And the ants just might their own business marching around the building. Impressive!
If you go with kids, prepare to be there all day long.

Always happy after a visit at Tropikariet! Really nice and clean place with a surprisingly large variety of animals in fitting habitats. Both kids and adults appreciate the different areas and it's super fun for the kids to crawl around in the small lookouts within some of the areas.

What an experience! They have so authentic rooms and floors you can find yourself in africa, south america and somewhere else on earth. Lovely animals can pass through near you :)we loved that

Amazing zoo that has 0 cages and only glass sometimes for spiders and snakes which is totally normal. Nice staff. 20€ to get in. Too bad I didn’t understand there was an aquarium in the WC (toilets) with sharks but it’s okay. Amazing animals there !! Must GO !

Wonderful experience with kids. Looks bits small outlook, but I think it is big enough inside for kids to spend few hours.
We loved the shrimp and fish tanks which you can put your hand inside to touch them.
And often you can find the staff bring out small reptile animals to let kids put their hands.
My little one was at dinosaur dig sandpit for a long time. Be honest, Personal I am not a sand friendly person, but kids love it, and great for their growing.
There was also a room with table and chairs to do some crafts work I think, there were lots red berries on the table, you can make beautiful necklace or decor to go away.
We had so much fun at here, highly recommend!

An absolutely wonderful experience, different then other experiences in a zoo or aquarium. We found it more an experience between a tropical aquarium and a scientific centre. Loved the whole build in network for the ants and the cave for night animals and the beautiful rare monkeys from Brasil.
Defenitely worth a visit!

A really interesting and enjoyable spot. Every floor and area was a surprise and the information is in both Swedish and English. Although unassuming from outside, this must see is highly recommended if you have younger children or just want to experience a great few hours of animals, fish and insects.

Should be the best place I’ve ever seen to keep animals. The animals are really energetic, healthy and were friendly and curious to visitors, if the animals were feeling good, you could even interactive with them. You could feel the animals alive just beside you by the breathe and the wind, peaceful and good place to spend time. Really valued experience, very nice workers as well.

A beautiful place to spend a day indoors with family. Variety of animals. Kids can touch water animals too.. there is a cafe and elevator

Perfect place for children to se and learn more about different small animals, fishes, insects and reptiles there is a restaurant and a place where children can look for a fossils in the sand, my boy who is 4 years old had a lot of fun including me.
Strongly recommend!!!

One of the most intricately designed indoor zoos, the kids had a fascinating time and we, as adults, loved reading up on cool facts.

Swedens tropical indoor zoo is an absolute delight & breathtaking. Me & my family had a great time. You get to see the gifts of nature caged in & a few harmless ones walking by at close range. As a visitor, you aren’t allowed to feed or carry them.
I can honestly say that kids & adults alike, will love to see the beauty of the gift of nature at this place… You will see reptiles, insects, a number of sea life creatures, birds & more. Oh, & there’s eats, either on arrival or before you check out at a fair price.

Cool Place, you get to be close to the animals, some of them can be touched (snakes, fish,..). Small, but very nice interior. The best are the little Lemurs - so much fun to watch how they monkey around. A must for families!

Really great little zoo in a great town only a ferry ride away from a trip to Denmark. The zoo is very interactive and has opportunities to get up close to some gorgeous tropical wildlife. Very nicely themed and the meerkat enclosure backing the cafe is a real treat in itself!
