Café Kaiser

Walking through Helsingor on a rainy day after hiking and visiting the castle, I found this place and it was exactly what I needed.

Nice, warm and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and good beer. I had the roast pork with potatoes and pickled beetroot, which was served as a huge portion and listed as 'all you can eat' so I had seconds. It was all cooked well, and was very tasty. As a tourist, I felt the prices were fair for what I received.

It's not a truly amazing restaurant but my experience was perfect, so I recommend this place.

Very nice experience, good food and friendly staff. I especially liked the Shooting Star dish and the mousse dessert. Would definitely recommend!

For a small restaurant in Helsingør just off the waterfront, Kaiser was a great place to end a day trip up from Copenhagen. The beer selection was about five (two primarily from Royal), and both rounds were served up quickly (fewer than 5 minutes each time). The food was delicious, fries were perfectly done, and the burger w/ goat cheese (as in a full cm thick disc if cheese), mushrooms and pickled red ongions was amazing. I wish restaurants in Copenhagen were this well priced, staffed, & friendly. Great place all around!

Their brunch is fabulous. It’s a buffet brunch with so many delicious options. The staff guy is polite and nice. Would love to visit again for a wonderful and fulfilling brunch.

I went there with my husband for the brunch buffet and i was impressed!
Anything that you could wish for in a brunch was there: from eggs and bacon to sparkling wine. The coffee was absolutely delicious. The dessert was great. I really loved the pancakes and the chocolate mousse. The brunch also included fresh fruits, juice, tea, cakes, croissants and a nice selection of cheeses.

Wonderful brunch buffet with exceptional tasting food. Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Fresh fruit, Yogurt, Danish pastries - You name it! And if that wasn’t enough there are “All you can drink” coffee, tea, freshly squeezed juice and cava included in the buffet!!!
The service is great, smiling and friendly.
I strongly recommend this place for both locals and tourists.
