Ledreborg Castle

Beware of old timers they will stop at nothing to eat berries from the bushes. If you try to move them they shout and stiff more black berries in their mouth. It's usually in August and September when the berries are made.
But don.t worry old timers are used to be shouted at next to the berry bushes

A hidden gem in roskilde. Not many tourists go there so it’s mostly locals. Great garden and there is a written guide on the entrance you can take with you and drop off when you leave. It tells the history of the castle. Beautiful forest for a walk around the mansion.

Ledreborg livsstilsdage is the perfect spring getaway in the country. Whether you're shopping for gourmet delicacies, clothing, interior decor or going for a ponyride with your kids this the place. You'll also find jewellery at a reasonable price, fun for the kids such as a shepherding dog and excellent spots for a picnic. The ramsløg hotdog is highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning place and well-kept grounds. Well worth the visit.

If you want to ride outside this crowded Copenhagen, then drive to this castle. Road to the castle is very beautiful. Mustard and barley plant on both side of road in may month.

With an excellent weather for golf, I went to Ledreborg Palads Golf, for a round of fun.
The clubhouse was beautiful, and the service good. A quick walk to the driving range (free balls), and back to a rather bumpy unforgiving putting green.. I was soon to experience why it was so bumpy. First, let me say that the course is amazing, Sir Faldo has really "carved" an exceptional course into the landscape. However, he must have had is fun designing this course. The are bunkers everywhere!, and the greens are very bumpy, no straight puts!. There is not alot of wather, however, the few "ponds" around are devilish put, and is likely to take a few balls. If I am to give any advise to other visitors, it would be:
1. Buy a description of the course, its impossible without.
2. Get a buggy if you have any trouble walking 13-15km in hilly landscape.
3. Finally, embrasse your SW, you'll need it..
My final advice would be to pack your bags and go visit this golf-course, it is worth the trip. Thumbs up!
