Fredensborg Palace

If you get a chance to go to Copenhagen in July, make sure that you have the Fredensborg Palace as a most have on your list. Its only open in July and a few weeks in August to the public. The tour of th palace and the gardens is a most. The palace garden tour was my favourite part as you could tell how enthusiastic the tour guide was about nature and how the palace had incorporated it.

Such a wonderful palace and the stunningly beautiful gardens of the Danish royalty. If you can go inside don’t miss the tour open only in July and early Aug. The palace is seeped in history. Best time to go is July.

Beautiful castle. Enjoyed walking in the garden around the castle.

Spacious parking lot, great to walk around since it's wide garden especially at the back side and fresh air.

An interesting spot in newer royal, Danish history. The head of new royal family - Glücksburgers - Christian IX gathered his large family of European royals here in the late 1800’s. Also visit the verbal gardens and the park. A “tombstone” for the royal dogs 🤓

This is a must to visit. The grounds and lake are stunning to see, takes a while to walk around, and parking is tight, we got round to the main gate in time for the changing of the guard. Well worth a look.

A unique experience as the Palace is only opened during the month of July. The Tour was insightful and the guides were very knowledgeable and witty. The Gardens are simply beautiful and a great spot to relax and read or take a peaceful walk.

Incredible architecture from the 15th/16th century, unbelievable.

Impressive wood and gardens next to the lake. The Royals knew where to place their palaces, no doubt! Thanks to them now ordinary people can enjoy tamed nature.

Worth the visit. Consider booking guided tour to see interior of the palace.

Beautifull place, I would not mind living here. Nice back garden too and lots of room for parking all your cars. All rooms where booked when we visited, some lady had taken them all. Security is good, armed guards in fur hats all over the place.

Cultural treasure open for public during the summer.

We had a very interesting guided tour with an excellent guide inside the castle (only available for a limited period) and in the amazing gardens surrounding the castle. Highly recommended
