Absolutely delicious! Perfect atmosphere for dining with friends or date night. Portions are well served, food presentation is done with a lot of care. Taste of the food is perfect. Wine served generously.
It is simply a perfect choice while in Copenhagen. Congrats and thank you!

We just happened to go to this place as we were having a drink at a bar across the street. We were there thinking we will have a simple dinner and when we saw the menu we decided to go for the 4 course menu. It was a delicious meal, the rib eye was delicious and the wine was an excellent combination. The people who served us were kind, friendly and responsive. This place is definitely a 10/10. Great job!

We enjoyed the 5-course meal plus pairings. Everything was absolutely outstanding. The wine selections were unique and enjoyable, the food prepared incredibly well, and the timing of courses ideal. We particularly enjoyed the first and final pairings. The waitstaff spoke eloquently to the pairing choices, which was a delightful experience in and of itself. The variety across the pairings did an excellent job balancing quintessential Danish cuisine with culinary explorativeness.

I recently dined at Restaurant Cofoco and had an absolutely delightful experience with their 4 Course menu.

The halibut was a true highlight; it practically melted in my mouth, and the freshness of the fish was evident. However, the star of the entire meal had to be the mussel soup. I can confidently say it was the best soup I’ve ever tasted. The flavors were simply amazing, with the peas and fish complementing each other beautifully.

The veal was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sides, including the sauce and corn, were equally impressive. The harmony of flavors in each dish was a testament to the chef’s skill.

For dessert, the strawberry sorbet was the ideal way to conclude the meal, refreshing and bursting with flavor.

This was my first experience with “Danish” cuisine, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The 4-Course menu is just enough, though if you are that little bit more hungry, I’d go for the 5-Course. I wholeheartedly recommend Restaurant Cofoco to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Moreover, the restaurant’s decor was tastefully done, creating a welcoming ambiance. While it was a bit warm inside, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Plus, the restaurant’s convenient location, just a few minutes’ walk from the metro, made it even more accessible.

In summary, Restaurant Cofoco exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to return for another exceptional meal.

Nice and cozy restaurant with menus with 4 and 5 dishes.
The food was tasty, typical nordic cuisine for a reasonable price.
The table we sat at was a shared one with glass, window-like walls on both sides, which was a bit of a mood killer, but generally it was a great experience.

A fantastic little gem of a restaurant!

Definitely worth a visit and sampling some of the delicious food and wine on offer. Service was attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant also spot on.

The steak was a particular highlight of my visit!

Do me a favour - book yourself a table, chose some good food and wine and thank me later :)

Great restaurant ! The place is lovely, well decorated. The staff is also lovely and I'm sorry in advance I didn't tip more when paying 😞 we had the four course menu and it honestly is already a lot of food ! We had it with the pairing wines, and wooow how amazing it was... If you try it this winter, you'll be surprised with the orange looking wine and how well it goes with the shrimps! One small feedback I have would be that it'd be perfect to receive the wine close to the dish serving. Otherwise it's way too tempting to drink it and not enjoy the pairing.

Overall we had a great experience! It's perfect for a special event, date night, birthday, in small group or with your partner ♥

Amazing place, we celebrated our small wedding in a private room (10 people). We took 5 course menu - it was delicious - mussels soup, ribeye, sorbet… strongly recommend to take wine pairing as well. Well done, Cofoco👍

The Cofoco group truly never seems to disappoint me and this restaurant only reinforced this during my visit yesterday.

From the atmosphere and service to the high level of quality of the food, there was truly no faults in the visit and merely pure bliss from it.

Would highly recommend having a go at their five course menu!

We had a wonderful dinner here our first night in Copenhagen. It’s a charming corner restaurant about a 12min walk from our hotel near Tivoli.

We ordered one 4 course (with veal rump) and one 6 course (4 course + truffle churros and potatoes) with steak. I personally thought the veal was better.

We didn’t realise one of the dishes was ceviche which I can’t eat until it was served. The waiter was so nice about it and switched it for their vegetarian beetroot option which was very flavourful.

Delicious food, nice ambiance and super sweet service from the whole personnel especially our main girl. They were all young and sweet. August – the kitchen apprentice – gets an extra mention for his efforts. May you be successful in what ever you decide to do in life.
Great produce and choices of wines.
I will come back.
The only small downside. My arse got a bit tired as the evening went. The seat was a bit hard in the long run.

We ordered the rib-eye with an amazing salad of grilled lettuce, ramson sprouts and parsley cream. For an appetizer we got the grilled flatbread with pickled pine shoots, mushrooms, and German turnips.

The flat bread was very nice, and had some sort of mushrooms that tasted awesome.

The steak was good but the salad on the side stole the show. Grilled lettuce? Wild. Very tasty sauce as well.

Had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings, food was fantastic and the wine pairings were delicious, one of us got the vegetarian tasting menu and it was a particularly good one with great thought put into the meat substitutes. Food was fairly priced and service and atmosphere was pleasant.

After a confusion with the booking for a late sitting, the restaurant was able to find a seat for us after an hour wait, which was lucky as everywhere on Saturday was booked out. The dishes, where fresh and used amazing seasonal ingredients with a twist. Definitely recommended and I will for sure visit again!

Very relaxed atmosphere, nice food and service. Was a little slow at times, but they always made up for it :) would definitely recommend for a cute date night or an evening with a few friends. The prices were decent and everything tasted well! Didn't get a chance to try the drinks but they looked good!;)

A relaxing succession of tasty dishes, each one only enough for a few bites. The flavors were tasty and well-presented but somehow didn’t stand out. The price was on par with similar Danish fine dining establishments. It was a fun five courses that could have used a splash of extra ingenuity.

Autumn 2021: We had the 5 course menu with the wine pairing. The food was tasty and both the dishes and the wine were presented nicely by the waiters. The cellar is cozy, though it can get pretty loud due to its acoustics. There are some separate rooms that you can book for larger parties.

Autumn 2022: We were a larger party and had the 4 course menu. The service was excellent and the room was perfect, but the food was not as good as the first time. All the dishes were ok, but not very special. The rib eye was quite disappointing, partly because it had very little salt, and partly because everything in the dish was soft. That is actually my main complaint about the food, the dishes did not have any texture contrast and were mostly soft and creamy, with no crunchiness. It was nice to see two different alcohol-free beers (both from Mikkeler) in the menu.
