Fantastic traditional Danish restaurant with all the classics dishes normally. During Xmas they do an authentic, huge Julefrokost for only 349,- that comes in four enormous servings of herring and chicken salad, and many other Danish classics including a flæskesteg.

Decorated like an old style brown bodega, it doesn't get much more authentic than this. One of the gems in Copenhagen.

Great food and service. Small eating area so may have to wait in busy times. Lunch menu looked extensive

Absolutely delicious fish. Huge portion. Sooooo good. We came twice, I had the fish both times, it was that amazing. Hubby had the fish, second time Frida's steak. That was also very good.

The waiters are so friendly and kind. On our first day there was a huge party and we were sure we'd be forgotten, since everybody was busy with the large table. But no, we didn't have to wait for long at all, the staff made sure to show us as much attention as needed. Absolutely wonderful experience!

At Fridas you will not have a big variety of different dishes, but everything which is in the menu is really tasty!
We tried the Wienerschnitzel, Hot pot pork tenderloin, Fridas Steak (Steak in style of the house) and the fish of the day. Everything was delicious!
Very friendly service!!!
I can really recommend to do a reservation. There are not many tables available, especially if outdoor dining is not possible. The reservation can be done on their webpage. Afterwards you will receive a confirmation mail, if there is a table available at your time of choice.

Staff were friendly and jovial, and that always make the dining more pleasant. I tried the hot pot pork tenderloin and it was really tasty. The pork was tender, and the tomato and cream based sauce was a flavour bomb. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.

First class we had not heard of Morten's aften but there was a special duck meal and it was terrific

Googled this place about 5 years ago (search criteria was “traditional Danish”) and it was utterly fabulous.

Been going back whenever I visit, as have everyone else who has been introduced to the magic of Frida’s, including some natives who didn’t know about it. The staff are ALWAYS EXCELLENT, as is the food if you’re open minded about trying the local stuff.

It’s Danish prices but you won’t regret it or forget it.

Frida’s is 5-10 min walk from main Copenhagen station.

Great Danish food. Served in a informal cosy pub / restaurant, that also serves as a bar.

We have our Christmas lunch here and it's worth every penny. And as always - Remember plenty of Beer and Snaps.

I was a bit leery of going here at first by just looking at the prices. Then they slapped this huge plate of food in front of me and I did not regret it one bit. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. I was barely able to eat half! Service was okay.

Very welcoming “home made” food. We went there because of local recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Good homey vibe and efficient, friendly staff :)

We started with some local beers, which were excellent. The mains were good - popular Danish favourites of steak and schnitzel. Finished with dessert and port. Staff were great and a lovely atmosphere.

Absolutely the best cultural experience I’ve had - we didn’t have a reservation (which I would recommend) and yet they took the time to fit us in and make us feel so welcome. The staff and patrons alike were so joyful and it felt as if we were in a true Viking hall celebrating the feasts of life. Don’t walk, RUN to this place if you are in Copenhagen.

Massive portions of great tasting traditional Danish food. We had the schnitzel and the pork in the paprika sauce - both very tasty. Very attentive and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!

Easy walking distance from Steel House Copenhagen. We found Frida's when the kitchen was about to close, but they accommodated us graciously and with humor. We had a delicious dinner of wienerschnitzel, creamy pork stew, and steak. All were good as well as the apple cake. Served in a nice warm pub-like atmosphere.

We are visiting from Australia and were lucky enough to visit this restaurant after searching local restaurants and reviews on Google.
The restaurant definitely did not disappoint.
The service was excellent and the food was superb (with very large portions). Copenhagen is lucky to have this jewel and we will definitely recommend.
Thank you for adding a wonderful experience to our holiday🤗🤗

We had a layover in Copenhagen on our return to Australia and went back to Fridas - it did not disappoint!
Again, excellent service and awesome local food! Thank you!!
