Fredensborg Camping

Fredensborg Camping is a very quiet and hyggelig camping site. The owners run it for a few years and the site is improving from year to year. We've been here as a family of five persons for the second time and we will come again.

We phoned ahead to check of there was a free spot. But due to extreme weather there was nothing (dry) available. The helpfull owner helped us to find another dry camping. Big Thank You!

Had a very nice stay on the campingsite.
the owners are very friendly and helpfull in every single way. even were invited to the midsommerfest on the campsite.
very bice terrain with nice and big spaces for camping. showers are very big in size, wich is great! only downsite for the showers are that there are no shower curtains dividing the dry and wet section, but with the size of the showers it was not a real big problem, but a small suggestion to the campingsite. there weren't alot of showers, but never had to wait. a very green almost forest like campingsite that is a perfect location to visit Fredenborg, Hillerød, Helsingør, Helsingborg(S) (ferry), and Kopenhagen by train from Humlebæk (5min drive).

camping offers also various tourist discount cards for museums and so on at the reception. also the reception has a small shop for emergency drinks and snacks.

to the owners, keep up the good work and when we are in the region again, we definitly will stay again at this campingsite!

Great campsite! The hosts were lovely and the facilities were very clean. Camping places were spacious. Mind that you need to pay 10 Danish crowns for a 6 minute shower and 2 crowns when you need hot water to wash your dishes.

Camping in the middle of nature

Very cozy place, with respecting visitors and great hosts. Would recommend for anyone! We came late and the hosts were already asleep but they woke up and greeted us kindly and made us feel very welcome!

Lovely campsite with beautiful nature pitches and very sweet owner. The owner showed us to our pitch, which was a large field for just our camper with a lot of privacy, on his bike. The camping has very nice vibes with friendly people staying there. The shower (10 dkk for 6 mins) and toilets are fine. It’s also relatively close to Frederiksborg Castle. If we ever visit Denmark again we’ll be sure to stop by here again!

We stayed for three nights at this incredibly green campsite. It was very well-kept; we had a spacious place for our tent; the owner was caring and generous; it had very decent kitchen and sanitary facilities; and it was a great location to explore the area from!

The camping was unfortunately fully booked but the lady was very kind and called for us another camping and found a place for us. I appreciate this. Next time we will come here as it looked quite nice.

Excellent campground for when you're visiting Denmark. Friendly staff, good WiFi (at the community building), and reasonable prices.

Jeg bor her. Det super, man kan helt sikkert finde bedre campingpladser, men vi har den skønneste natur , dejlig fred og ro kun fuglekvidder hele dagen.

Hele prettige camping gerund door ontzettend betrokken eigenaren die er alles aan doen om het je naar de zin te maken. De camping ligt op een rustige plek. Het sanitair is schoon. Wellicht zou het helpend zijn om wat meer douches en toiletten aan te leggen. WiFi is bereikbaar bij receptie.Kopenhagen is eenvoudig binnen 30 min vanaf het station in de buurt, te bereiken.

Wij waren eerst naar een andere camping gereden met onze brandweerwagencamper die vol was. Uiteindelijk rond gebeld of we nog ergens terecht konden. Bij camping Fredensborg konden we gelukkig terecht. Het was slecht weer en er werd gelijk meegedacht over wat voor activiteiten we konden doen met de kinderen. We werden door de eigenaar met de fiets naar onze plek gebracht. Hij loopt elke dag rond voor een praatje! Hele fijne camping. We zijn uiteindelijk 3 nachten hier gebleven!
De voorzieningen zijn ook goed en als je ergens hulp bij nodig hebt staan ze meteen paraat. Ik zou zeker aanraden om hier ook te overnachten. Misschien komen we ooit nog terug om in de leuke gekleurde huisjes te overnachten! 😉

Rigtig fin campingplads. Den ligger fint i forhold til diverse seværdigheder på nord Sjælland og ikke langt fra Humlebæk strand. Der er busstop sted lige uden for pladsen, så der er gode muligheder for at komme der til og fra med offentlig transport. Selve pladsen er mindre med både sol og skygge pladser. Det er en rolig og en skøn naturplads. Servicebygningerne er meget rene og velholdte, de bliver gjort rent flere gange om dagen. Værtsparret er meget serviceminded og venlige. Vi har haft 13 skønne overnatninger og det er bestemt ikke sidste gang vi besøger Fredensborg Camping.

We wilden deze camping als tussen stop doen om naar Kopenhagen te gaan. Inmiddels hebben we ruim 10 campings bezocht maar tot nu toe is dit de mooiste. En de rust en vriendelijk en de ruimte deed ons beslissen om langer te blijven. Prachtige uitval basis om te fietsen en te wandelen. Leuke stadjes om te bezoeken Kopenhagen is dichtbij , er stopt een bus voor de uitgang van de camping. Sanitair is verouderd maar voldoet en is schoon.
