Restaurant Kronborg

This has got to be a top restaurant in Copenhagen as it was one the best meals ever. All items are traditional Danish.

The quality of the product was very good. The flavors were excellent, the service was premium.

It was expensive. We spent about $85 a person, but that included appetizers, main, meal, wine, beer, dessert and good tip. It was worth every Krone.

Absolutely satisfying experience.
We were able to get a table for 4 persons without reservation.
All the staff in service were charming, have a good sense in Humor and are clearly loving their jobs, which you can tell by the way they interact with their customers.
The Smørebrød was outstanding! Everything we ordered was just great!
I highly recommend everyone to come over and visit this wonderful restaurant.

Thank you Kronborg for introducing us to the Danish cuisine, it has been amazing! We had three dishes: 1. Skagen sandwich (shrimps), 2. Herring with potatoes in brown bread, 3. Greenlandic halibut. All three dishes super fresh, high quality and tasty! Our favorite Skagen Sandwich. We left quite full after this and the price was good! Also the service was very attentive. We have enjoyed a lot. We will recommend and be back! Xx

Traditional Danish food. The servers provided great recommendations for the food and aquavit pairings as we had never eaten traditional Danish food before. Our group of 4 tried various items from the menu including the season platter, all of which were excellent. The server was very friendly and entertaining.

Really good traditional Danish food, especially the Stjerneskud there (it wasn't listed on the lunch menu but you can ask for it). The eel also was very tasty.
The restaurant is cozy and charming and the waiter was very attentive.
Even though the prices are rather high (tax seems to be added to the prices shown in the menu), it still was worth the experience.

A very nice authentic danish cuisine! The ambiance is nice and cozy and the personal is very friendly. The food tastes very fresh and personally I was a big fan of their seafood. A must when visiting Copenhagen.

Beautiful presentation of all the dishes - bit of confusion when we told our waiter we had ordered ahead but we figured it out in the end. Some vegan options which was great - had no trouble doing 2 vegan and the rest regular. Fit our group of 13 with no issues. A bit warm and tight downstairs but still fit-able. The dishes were delicious! And amazing beverage options. Our waiter Christian was awesome! Very kind and helpful. Great service. So filling!

Probably the best traditional danish cuisine in the house!

We had lunch in Restaurant Kronborg and we were really really satisfied with this traditional danish experience. We had the vegan brokkoli patties and the roast beef with grilled onions + fried egg. Both excellent. As well as the apple cake, which was very nice. Very friendly/funny and helpful service. No issues with English, on the contrary. Would eat here again 10/10

visited last weekend and we were delighted with everything. Service excellent, food magnificent. All in a calming and very comfortable atmosphere. Weather was terrible at the time and I'm sure we looked bedraggled. But the team welcomed us, found us a lovely table and fed us a wonderful meal.

If you want traditional danish food with excellent service then dine here!! Could not fault our experience and would highly recommend :)

Very recommended.
- Service was brilliant thanks to Viktor, he was super attentive and warm helping us understand what the choices were, ingredients, and describing local drinks. Best waiter ever.
- Quality was good, quantity was better than expected, and price was also tolerable.

A wide and tasty selection of local dishes. Helpful and friendly staff. Every bite of each served meal was delicious. After eating I recommend to have a taste of strong liquors that help with digestion.

We were a little skeptical of the herring dishes, but decided to give them a go. I was quite pleased. We tried the traditional and the old fashion marinated bit were good, but the traditional was my favorite. All the other dishes that we had were excellent. The waiter was quite pleasant and attentive. We would not hesitate to return on any future trips to Copenhagen.

Very authentic Danish restaurant with amazing food and friendly service!
Cozy and lovely atmosphere.
The staff helped us with picking our food and we went for their tasting menu for sharing. It was a great variety of traditional dishes and the perfect start if you are in Copenhagen for the first time and want to try all the traditional danish dishes including desserts and cheeses.

Excellent quality of danish food and exceptional service. Highly recommended if you are coming in Copenhagen soon.

It was so delightful to have traditional Danish Christmas menu here. Every dish is so well cooked and with big portion. What a pity I visited here only by myself, so the food portion was a bit too much to me. But that is not the menu's fault, Christmas supposes to be with some one else. Will absolutely come here again with family and friends.

Great traditional danish resturant! The food was great, lots of variety and great flavours. The ingridents were also of very high quality. The service was great, the waiter was happy, helpful and had some great recommendations. The bread was so good aswell! Coming back next time I’m in Copenhagen!
