Beautiful lunch on our last day! The owner was very friendly and helped us choose the perfect wine menu with our food choices. The atmosphere was fancy but laidback: we didn’t feel underdressed or out of place at all! Absolutely had a blast and would definitely come again! Merci!

High expectations and they were exceeded. It feels like you’re dining in someone’s living room and the service was phenomenal.

Good choice if you are in the mood for a different fish and vegetarian dishes - most with a Japanese touch. Very friendly staff, with kitchen people servicing the guests. Please notice, Saturday only serves Japanese breakfast/ brunch for lunch. Their scallops are second to none!

One of the best meals and service I’ve experienced. Ruairi knows his Food but his wine knowledge and pairings are sensational. The interior. The calmness. The ease of service. This is just a beautiful place to eat.

Great place near the parliament building. Vegetarian food given the Michelin treatment: perfect produce, excellent technique, and a creative menu. The staff and restaurant set the mood well. As soon as you walk in you know you are in for something different, done with passion for the food and wine.

Good food but not amazing. The best reason to go is their extensive wine menu with plenty of natural wine. I had an orange wine by the glass

Amazing traditional Japanese breakfast, great wine list, and friendly service. Don’t missed the poached egg and carrots in cotrus ginger sauce!

Amazing food! Great service, super friendly and attentive waiters, ambiance and setting are very cozy and not loud. We had the vegetarian course but ordered also their scallops and iberico pork. The flavor fusions are really nice, well balanced with some unique tones here and there. Worth it and I think quite reasonably priced!! Will definitely return to try another course meal should we back in Copenhagen again. Highly recommended!

I’ve been here a few times before and this evening was my fourth time. I’ve had both lunch and dinners here. Loved every dish every time, love the staff, love the interior and ambience, but also absolutely love and appreciate the music and noise level. Why do other restaurants have good food but horrible music or music that doesn’t fit the vibe at all? Or are way too noisy? I don’t know. But Admiralgade 26’s playlists are just *chefs kiss* (i’m not a chef) (but one’s sonic experience of a restaurant is very important ok!!!) ^___^

5 stars all around. The danish squid and yuzu dessert were delicious! Must visit in Copenhagen. Thank you for the wonderful service!

On Saturdays they're known to shine,
With brunch that's Japanese and divine,
Local Danish ingredients they combine,
Creating flavors that will blow your mind.
Wine selection's also quite refined!

One of the best lunches or dinners you can get in Copenhagen! They do a fantastic job. The japanese style brunch is incredible

Interesting flavours on show here with the vegetarian tasting dinner, particularly the pickled red cabbage dish. Fantastic wines by the glass as well (no list available, we went entirely by the proprietor’s advice). Warm and welcoming service with beautiful interiors. Would recommend if in town.

This epitomises - for me at least - the perfect eatimg experience. Admiralgade 26 is a mix between a restaurant and a wine bar. It consists of an elegantly decorated single room with a high ceiling . You can sit at either a high bar table, in comfortable fauteuils or at a regular table. The window seats are littered with books on modern architecture and the walls with idiosyncratic works of art (among others a beautiful Goya etching!). Service is excellent. The food is high end; subtle but without prentensions. I enjoyed a few excellent oysters, charred leek with a subtle sauce gribiche, exceptional home made sourdough bread (moist and heavy with a dark crust), fish roe with pickled onions and velvety sour cream. All accompanied by a very good, idiosyncratic, selection of wines by the glass: among others an Austrian Morillon, a very good Hungarian pinot noir and a very unusual orange wine made entirely of the juice of muscat grapes. Last but not least, I have to mention the friendly and hospitable service. I eat out a lot but my evening at Admiralgade really stood out!

Walked in on a rainy Friday night around 9pm without a reservation. Thankfully they were more than willing to take our money.

Cozy, hip and spacious space with lots of charming touches.

No menu but an “omakase” at 495 dkk per person). Japanese influences. Great service. Excellent wine list. Zalto glasses. Buzzy vibe. Fantastic meal with some truly astounding surprises.

First dinner upon touched down in Copenhagen, so lucky to walk in to find last-minute seating available here after trying a few others without success nearby. The decor was unpretentious and very welcoming - like going to a friend’s home. Loved the friendly service here, all the dishes were served with smiles. Lots of love and consideration put into every dish, our tongues could tell. I liked how the roes were found at the bottom of the bouillabaisse, what a surprise! The lamb was so succulent and juicy and soft, still thinking about it the day after.

In their historic building with different cozy interior, the environment was relaxed and a definition of hygge.
With great hospitality and service, not only they fulfilled every wish of an extraordinary experience, I also gained a feeling of being a part of the team as their guest.
The food was beyond excellent in every way, experimenting with taste combinations making a whole new experience of food.
It was truly the best restaurant visit I've had.
Such great hospitality and love for their work combined with the lifenuturing food is definitely a trip worthy for all.

Went for lunch with my wife and we were both positively surprised by the experience - we were welcomed by the owner who went around the restaurant singing along to the rock playing in the radio. He welcomed us and showed us to a table by the window and immediately handed us the menu. We had a glass of champagne and the “Black Iberian pork with todays greens and sauce” - a simple but very tasty dish - a perfect match for our Saturday lunch. We ended the lunch having coffee and petit fours and was handed a bill just above DKK 1000/USD 150. We will certainly come back for another visit

Beautiful restaurant, incredibly friendly and knowledgable staff, and while the courses in the tasting menu didn’t have any particular theme it was all delicious and interesting flavours. We really enjoyed the meal and the relaxed atmosphere

We had dinner for 5 people here and booked on the day having walked past and had a look. It was in a guide book and booked on a whim. It was our favourite meal in Copenhagen. The setting is gorgeous, like a private home. Lots of details, experienced staff. The food was outstanding and a real experience. 7 course vegetarian degustation with added fish courses. Everything was stunning and nothing was too hard. Requests met with ease and courtesy. We eat out a lot around the world and this was a top notch and memorable experience in Copenhagen. Highly recommend.
