The most friendliest people I found from my short trip to CPH were from this place. The lady at the reception gave the brightest smile and clear explanation on how to get to the exhibition downstairs.

Went in Nov23, there were 2 exhibitions, photography and games. I was the only one there, got a bit creepy when I was trying to zoom in on the photos of the deceased on display when suddenly it went blackout for like a second or two! Tried to make my visit there a brief then 😅. On to the gaming exhibition, I enjoyed playing Subway Surfers on their big screen!

The ticket was included in Copenhagen Card.

The Royal Library is a great place to visit that is free and offers great views over the river. "The Black Diamond" as it is called is an architectural marvel. Despite many areas being closed off to the general public (aka tourists, understandably), the bookstore, Cafe and open areas of the building offer more than enough to explore.

Great place to visit. Its an architecture jewel. It’s a place for visit to study or work, or even just to explore. The mix of the old library and the new places is great. The coffee is good, they just need to improve in the WC cleanliness. They have guided tours on Mondays, so schedule in accordance.

The Royal Danish Library is a must-see. Inside the building there is a library, reading rooms, presentation rooms as well as a bookstore with souvenirs and an excellent cafe. Take a break, visit the library and enjoy an cup of coffee and a view of the Circle Bridge.

Nice library and it called “black diamond” if I remember correctly. A cozy working/studying/reading place. Quiet and have tons of space and amazing view.

If I can come to work in CPH, I definitely will go this place every weekend to do my side coding project!

The most stunning library. A huge building with several floors. There students studying everywhere and it's so calm and quiet. You should definitely reach the top floor to get a better view and then grab coffee and a snack at the cafeteria located on the ground floor. You can also buy souvenirs and books at a store next to the café.

A really beautiful library, combining the old Royal Library and the new Black Diamond building.

Unfortunately a lot of areas were closed to visitors the day I was there, but despite this I still really enjoyed my visit.

The café is definitely worth a visit too.

I'm happy for the people who live in Copenhagen. They have such an extraordinary facility nearby. It's a brilliantly designed building, architecture wise. Inside gave me the calm and clear feeling to focus. The interior is well thought and beautiful in each corner, chairs, lights, tables. There's the old pharmacy cupboards with old books directory, impressively kept in good condition. The lowest floor has a café with the water view. Bread there was good as well. I'd recommend to drop by even just to see around. But be careful not to disturb people 😊

The whole building feels inherently cozy, despite being so spacious. Highly recommend going up to the sixth floor to see the interior from up above, although if you’re afraid of heights it might not be the best idea🌝

Probably one of the most meaningful and productive and great buildings in Copenhagen at all. The design is awesome, the sun shines in every corner, the space is enough for everyone, there is a fee toilet, a great view, a coffee shop at the first floor, an open space to sit down, read or do a mobile task, or even just rest a bit from the cold winter of Danmark. I loved it and visited twice in the 3 days stay.

The Royal Danish Library – The Black Diamond. The Black Diamond shows special exhibitions and collections and hosts talks, concerts. This is not just a place for books and students, but contains rich collections of cultural value that reflect broad European cultural traditions all the way back to ancient and medieval times.

One of the great libraries in the world. It combines old school charms and modern architecture that Denmark is known for. One of the best free things to do if you are into architecture. You will also see the "little" mermaid there as well...

Primo study location! The study area have signs that say "users only". That means people who are there to study/work, aka no tourists. You don't have to register or anything like that. Lots of study tables and you can go old charm or modern sleek. Study areas are dead quiet even when full (so def not for meetings or group work). I think there are separate areas for talking and group work. WiFi was fast and easy to connect to.

Stunning architecture, you can also get 1-2 levels up to make the nicer pictures from the Center. Free to visit in the city Center, enough place to work, WiFi is also there. I recommend also to go around the building as they integrated the old facade from the back, which is also beautiful and there is nice garden there as well

A really nice library architecturally both from the outside and inside. Locally known as the Black Diamond, this is really a diamond for the Copenhagen Architecture scene in my view. A really beautiful building especially on Nice sunset days when the sparkling water reflects in the windows.

Go inside a well. It's free and the atrium looking out over the water is awesome. The old library area is also nice to walk into. Just be quiet as it is a working library.

A beautiful library not to be missed. It has a new building connected to the old library and the architecture is just lovely. The new building also has a great view to the river, and there is also a beautiful garden at the back.
