This place save as from hunger 24 Dec, when everything was closed. The waitress was so kind, she treated us with a fresh bread with butter and advised the nearest restaurant with open kitchen.

Totally recommend it!
One of the few places where you have good food + nice view in semi central Copenhagen. The staff was very fast and even though it was very busy everything was very quick! Also , we had small problem with the order and they reacted immediately!
Hard working people , great job - thanks !

Good location. Order at the bar. Have a seat. Brilliant. I read some people complaining about this. However I disagree. It’s a café. Not a five star full service restaurant.
I like the fact that you can just leave when you’re done too.
To each their own.

The ideal place for a summer afternoon.
Only 4 starts if you go in autumn/winter.

This is a really atmospheric cafe overlooking one of the most picturesque places in Copenhagen. If you love nature, do yourself a favor and go here on a spring or summer afternoon, enjoy a drink and a snack as you stare at the ducks and swans swimming on the lake. Let the breeze cool you down, and let nature soothe your heart.

They have the look and feel of a French Cafe, but the menu is adjusted to Danish tastes. You'll see cakes on display, stylish cups of coffee and menu's written in chalk on blackboard's on the walls.

They have good coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cakes, alcoholic beverages of all types (cocktail selection is a bit limited), and even make good food (bonus for curly fries fans). Nothing I tried here was to die for, but all were of good quality, nicely prepared, and served in a friendly and cozy atmosphere.

You won't be able to enjoy the lake if you visit in the autumn or winter, but at least you can enjoy a cozy treat.

One of my favorite cafés in Copenhagen. The interior and menu are not special, as such - but it's truly French, and the 'regulars' vouch for the ambience.

The terrace, though, is awesome, right on the lake. In winter there's heaters and protection against the wind, so possible to sit comfortably outside, even in cold temperatures.

Great little place next the lake. Before I knew it was French bar, I was think this place has a French vibe to it. You can imagine how I felt when I found it was called the French bar. :D other than that good price for drinks and very chilled with friendly staff.

A nice friendly warm cafe and restaurant on the corner of SorteDam See the last of the lakes surrounding Copenhagen in the east of the city. The cafe overlooks Sortedam See and one can sit beside the lake in the Summer on one of the tables outside. They also have a free internet connection for guests. The people who work there are friendly and the customers are young art types as well as older business people but it has a general welcoming atmosphere. A place to visit in that part of the city.

Nice little café/bar on the edge of the lakes - despite its location not too expensive either. Has infrared warmers and blankets for chilly days and nights, so you still get to enjoy your beer or coffee outside.

We found this lovely cafe today, New Year's Eve, because most places were closed. I am so glad we found it. Friendly staff, they could understand my Danglish (Danish spoken by English). It had a warm and hyyglet atmosphere. They serve Jacobs Brun, so happy with that. My Biksemad was superb and my hubby liked his chilli. We aim to go there again.

The best Chilli con Carne in Denmark. Also one of the best views in the city. The staff is always kind and the prices are fair.
