A beautifully warm restaurant overlooking the sea which is lucky because the prices chill the soul..

We chose braised pork cheeks with celeriac and a burnt butter thinking that for £20 pounds a plate we'd at least be full, then the waitress said that was just a starter so we filled up on the delicious bread and salted butter.

The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully, we had a brilliant time and our waitress was just so lovely.

10/10 for the food, service and location.

North of the city centre of Copenhagen you will find this beautiful and charming restaurant. The location is very nice just by the sea and with nice surroundings. The atmosphere and friendly staff, which gives very good service, gives you a memorable stay. Food is excellent and the wine selection is even better.

Upscale, elegant and expensive - but it is worth it! The service is really top and the menu has great options of well served fish, seafood, meat and special dishes. I ordered a Rosé that was crisp and that perfectly harmonized with my sole (flat fish). But the highlight is definitely the view, overlooking the deep blue Nordic Sea. So peaceful and delightful. A fancy destination restaurant to impress whoever you want but also great place to stop by after some beach time on Bellevue.

Very cute cottage right on the beach with beach view when seated outside. The service is amazing like never before while in Denmark. The food was great. I tried fish n chips usually in other restaurants the fish has a little water or weird taste but this did not have any tiny bit of smell or bad taste. It’s very very tasty and great fish. The dip wasn’t so great. It was aioli but with saffron. I didn’t feel it complimented the fish. But in any case the fish was soooo good it didn’t need any sauce or dip. Even the French fries were great. If you want some view and good food. Must try this place.

Great service, fantastic food and nice ambiance.
Arrived at 2.30pm for the 3 courses menu without reservation, we were warmly welcome. Despite closing at 4.30pm we were served fantastic food and our waiter was a joy!
From far the best restaurant we be been to since we arrived in Copenhagen. We will definitively come back.

Wonderful little cosy restaurant with a great view of the sea.

Food and wines are very high quality, and it's worth the trip to go eat here for lunch or early dinner to catch the light.

I suggest your Book a table - most days.

Desserts and espresso were impeccable. Do avoid bottled water as it’s expensive and tastes the same as the tap water.

Nice and cozy spot. Not so many tables but that’s good for a good atmosphere. Marinated herring is really good, definitely worth coming.

Love the food, ambience, view and service! Will definitely come back!

It is located in absolutely beautiful surroundings, with a view straight over the ocean and lots of VERY old trees in the vicinity of this place. A nice big parkinglot for free for the guests of the restaurant. Unfortunately all restarants were closed down in Denmark at this time due to Covid 19. So we could not eat there now. But just looking at this beautiful historic old building was worth the entire trip.

It's just Iike a little house from a cottage 😍 warm-hearted service, so delicious and unique food and bread. Crazy amount of different kinds of wine 🍷 😊
