Golden Indian Restaurant & Take Away

Lovely place which has actually quite a lot of space despite looking fairly small.

We had a big group of us, so they were certainly kept busy. Things therefore came out a bit slower, but that is understandable.

Tried the samosas which were yum. The mango 🥭 lassi is jolly huge!
The garlic naan was yum with actual garlic pieces on it :)
The 3 veggo dishes we shared were flavourful and delish.

Would recommend a try for sure :)

Very helpful staff and kind service. The food is really good, the samosas are fresh and the dishes are very tasty. They also helped us recommending a dish for the kid. 😍

Food was fantastic. Good portion sizes at a reasonable price. Freshly made naan. Recommend the garlic naan, chicken Biryani, lamb Rogan josh and butter chicken. Spices were medium, and can be adjusted. Good meat and veggie dishes. Mango lassi was fabulous!

Wonderful experience. I hosted my Chinese client in this restaurant and they were really impressed by the hospitality and the taste of food.
Unlike the other restaurants in Copenhagen here seats are quite wide and you have enough hand and leg room.
Very peaceful environment inside as well as outside.
Very good experience for peace loving and not in so hurry type foodies.

Had the Lamb Masala with garlic naan, basmati rice, raita and mango lassi. The lamb was cooked perfect and the dish had the perfect texture and balance. By far the best Masala I've had anywhere.
Also, the Mango Lassi has the right density as well, which very few restaurants can be proud of.
The personel was very nice and it was a great experience dining here.

Best restaurant in Copenhagen. This restaurant reveals Indian culture and it feels like we are in India. Mouth watering food and amazing staff. I recommend you all to visit there and experience Indian food as well as Indian culture. Lovely place

Never eaten inside the restaurant itself, but have ordered from these guys atleast once every 2 weeks for the last 3 years. Always the same, 2x Rogan Josh for me and my roomie - It is an excellent dish if you have a hard time finding genuinely spicey indian food in Denmark. Best Indian Restaurant i have come across in the Greater Copenhagen Area thus far.

I thought the food was really well prepared.

Even though they were running behind by about ten minutes it did not matter. They very kindly apologized.

Really great Indian cuisine - the funniest I have had in Denmark. Mattar Paneer isn't always on menus, but they have it and it is very good. I drive 25 minutes to get it if I want Indian food!

Excellent indian food and very cheap! We enjoyed it very much and can definitely recommend going "indian hot" if you're into spicy food.
It seems to be somewhat of a hidden gem, as there were rather few people in the restaurant despite the great food, friendly service, and more than reasonable pricing.

Had the chicken tikka masala, it was excellent. Rich, creamy sauce full of flavour, lots of tender, moist chicken breast. Ordered it as take-away, but the restaurant interior was charming, cool, and cozy. Will go again.

Delivery was fast and food was fantastic.

It’s a little cozy place, serves very good Indian food. The Owner is a really nice guy who looks well into your order and makes you feel at home.
