Hotel Koldingfjord

Beautiful location on the fjord, walking paths. Excellent restaurant, very nice selection at breakfast. Well decorated.

It’s a hotel built years ago but reserved al the time essences. From the entrance you could even see a sign telling no riding horse .

We had a room with lake view, for a rainy night and sunny day. Wish I had planned a longer stay before we head back to Germany.

Taking a walk around the lake could use 1-2 hour, and the swimming pool with sauna could also relax you for good.

Nevertheless, the dining in this hotel is also very nice

We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. Both nights we had the half board dinner, the staff were great and the food amazing. The hotel is at the end of the fjord in a nice relaxing estate like environment. We walked to the Trapholt one afternoon but otherwise had a relaxing time on the property. Highly recommend.

Close to the nature! Great breakfast and diner, swimming pool or swimming deck (at the fjord) an easy 5☆.
I'll definitely come back for another time!

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. Location is a pure perfection and the building dated 1911 restored in a way you'll be able to appreciate a special ambience in lobbies, which combined with modern design items are something special on it's own.

Service is great, but could be slightly improved at the reception (little more information would help new guests to orientate).

We had a great breakfast with an ocean wiew and have taken a three course dinner which was really good, but missing at least a small dish introduction when served.

Rooms are spacious, bed linen exceptionally good (can't remember the last time I've slept that good in a hotel) and bathrooms equipped with all necessities.

With some hardly detected nuances of possible improvement, I'd recommend this hotel to everyone without a doubt!

What a beautiful location overseeing the Kolding's Fjord. The property itself looks spectacular and ideal for very fancy parties. The property is gigantic. The rooms are decent. We also enjoyed the food, a very mechelin star like preparation. Overall an incredible experience !

This is a fantastic hotel. The food is excellent, as are the facilities. They have a swim dock outside, a pool inside, nice pub, and good dining room. The decor is elegant, and the people friendly. We held a conference there, and they did a wonderful job accommodating the 150 or so attendees. I highly recommend this, both for events as well as for personal travel.

We loved this hotel and stayed for 5 nights in total. In the summer the terrace and lawn info front of the hotel are a great place to relax. You can even jump in the Fjord and have a swim. Breakfast is and the beds are very nice with gigantic pillows. The only thing is that the room didn't have airco, but it wasn't too warm.

Nice hotel at a great location. If you have problems with stairs, ask for a room in the main building

Excellent place. We had a small double room, that was very nice and perfect size for 2 people. Location in the forrest down to the river, All perfekt. Breakfast brunch was delicious!

The rooms where decent and some of them have a stunning view over the fjord. The staff were very polite and the wine tasting we went to was a good experience. The food was excellent though I'm not sure what is more intoxicating, the wine or the beautiful sight of the sunset over the fjord while eating in the restaurant.

We stayed here for a weekend in July and this hotel is simply gorgeous. It's tucked within a forest, and fronts a beautiful view of the fjord. Location is perfect for any type of getaway and celebrations. The staff was very, very accommodating and the food is good. We're looking forward to our next visit.

This is a fantastic hotel! Beautiful views right on a Lake and a forest behind the hotel. The restaurant serves delicious food. I was there for a wedding and it is an amazing place for a wedding. It is a very ideallic setting for a wedding. The pictures we took were breathtaking! It has a pool and small Fitness center with a sauna. Delicious breakfast is included. I highly recommend it!

Wonderfull location, restaurant is exceptional both regarding the menu but also service. Rooms are very clean and have all you need.

Fantastic place. Amazing room, superb panorama view to the Sea and the wood is right behind the Hotel. Great service. I will recommend this Hotel. It's very nice. The atmosphere is World Class. I have living in many hotels, this is in the top.

This place is amazing. Heaven in Denmark. Big spacious rooms. Delicious food. Very beautiful views. Very close to the lake. Beautiful walking paths.

Absolutely stunning hotel, with plenty of helpful staff in an idyllic setting. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous (expensive, but worth it) and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The facilities are excellent, and the breakfast was very good also.

It has passed almost 30 years but still I have dear and awe memories of this hotel.
Got a wonderful park into the woods, a super access to the fiord waters.
Huge was the buffet breakfast, and insuperable the elegant dinners.
