A very nice boutique restaurant in Odense, the inside has a rustic feel and warm atmosphere. The staff were lovely and took the time to help with any translations and suggestions, also very accommodating to vegetarian requirements. The food was too tier - we had a lot of duck on our trip but this was the best duck dish in my opinion, the small things like the bread was also amazing would thoroughly recommend the focaccia!

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The beef was exceptional - the meat was of great quality and the ingredients were clearly very fresh. Additionally, the staff member who sliced the bread was very handsome and patiently introduced me to different types of Danish bread.

The only minor flaw was that my dining companion and I accidentally ordered raw meat, which resulted in some discomfort due to eating it cold. In addition, raw meat is odourless due to its high quality. However, this was our own mistake and not a reflection of the restaurant's quality.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The architecture style is also very beautiful and adds to the overall dining experience.

A totally lovely place with great atmosphere and great food. Mind your head! The ceilings are very low :-) We dines there at lunch and it was busy, but the staff was calm and inviting. The slow roasted pork was out of this world. Would gladly go again.

5-star no doubt! It is located at the edge of the Den Fynske Landsby (Funen village). It has both Restaurant(formal dinning) and Cafe (casual). My family chose the Cafe after visiting the Fynske. The food was so taste and prepared in fresh. The cafe actually locates in the village with open lawn and white table sets. Gorgeous atmosphere. Such a great lunch. Definitely recommend to my friends.

A delicate experience of fantastic food served in the traditional buildings of Sortebro Kro. The servings were sublime and so was the wine pairing. It has my recommendations.

Simply amazing! The food was farm to table (90%) and the ambience was on point with the timelessness of the funen village.

This place is: AMAZING. We weird Dutch people made a reservation for a short dinner break. We stayed for 3 hours and the food was so good, got little snacks, home made bread, soup, nice pork and lovely ice cream and chocolate and cookies. Meanwhile we're almost in Sweden. Two years ago, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary in this restaurant and it was one of the best restaurant experiences which I had: professional service, excellent food, nice ambiente. I wonder why this restaurant still has no Michelin star. Greetings from Germany and we will come back very soon again!

Ate here yesterday with my husband for our five year anniversary. We chose the nine courses with nine wine pairings option and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD INCREDIBLE. I am vegan, so they made a specialty menu just for me. The service was amazing and we've never had such a lovely dining experience. I want to eat here forever!

My girlfriend and I dined at the Sortebro Kro when we visited Den Fynske Landsby (Funen Village) and we had a great experience! We arrived a sunny day, and the dining facilities outside was romantic and airy. We had a delicious meal (I had their homemade sausage and my girlfriend had their Free-land meatballs) which was exceptional for the price and quality. Biggest recommendations from us!

Can't say enough about this place. We were there for our 10th wedding anniversary in 2015, and we were treated like royalty. Food was amazing, every detail looked after. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sortebro Kro!

The food was sublime, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the place itself is such a gorgeous location, both outside and inside. I've been there several times, both for their conventional menus, and also for some of their events. All of it was great.

Top class! We just had marinated and fried heerings along with eggs, apple, capers, onions, small potatoes, mayonnaise and homemade bread. Kellerbier from Riegele and walnut snaps were magnificent. 😋

Spent the day there for a work seminar. The place and the surrounding are amazing and the food was very good.
