Great experience! We got a food + wine menu, I strongly recommend going “all in”, because it’s worth it. Delicious dishes, very good wine parings and nice presentation. Besides, it is very reasonably priced.

Amazing dinner with a top service level. A restaurant where food and art works hand in hand to create an extraordinary experience for the guests.
Yesterday we had one of the best dinner dates in Copenhagen at Krebsegaarden, thanks to everyone working in there ❤ the tasting menu was delicious!

We had dinner here with some friends of mine which live in Copenhagen.
The place is in a central area, the restaurant is cosy with selected furniture and details.
The owner is suuuuper smart and his humour accompanied us throughout the whole dinner, we enjoyed him a lot as he's a PERFECT host.
Menu is varied enough and there is choice for all. Food was AMAZING, really.
I'd recommend this place to everyone, I'd come back as soon as possible.

Amazing place, with great attentive, enthousiastic staff. The tasting menu was chosen with 4 different dishes, which were all cooked with great attention. Starters were Scallops and Consume. Cooked very delicate with a great balance with Scallops. Consume was very dynamic and rich. Mains were Balacao and Haddock. Both dishes were wonderful with great pairings of wines. Sommelier is very knowledgeable and excited to share his knowledge with the guest which adds to the experience. A bit expensive but worth for the experience. Make a reservation quickly as it is usually booked out, especially in the weekend

Very good food, very nice people.
A bit too much “wanna be italiano (or spagnolo or Francois…)” and a little bit too much “didn’t I tell you my reco were right”.

An extraordinary experience. Not only because of the food. The cooking was excellent, unexpected - and the selection of the wines was - not too ambitious - epiphany. But the accompaniment of the host was so informative, friendly, kindred spirit, entertaining and funny - we have never experienced anything like it before. He forced us to focus on the different tastes. Something we had already forgotten.👌👌👌TripleAAA

It’s the most fun I’ve had in fine dining. We ate there on Tuesday evening for a special dinner (which we booked in advance) and the 2 owners gave recommendations in pairing drinks that go really really well with the dishes including crème caramel and tiramisu. The food is super fantastic and one of the best I’ve eaten. On top of that, they are the most friendly hosts I’ve ever encountered. They are pro-active and interactive to their customers which I think is a lost art sometimes. I have high respect for their work and I truly recommend this place.

This small, intimate restaurant is an absolute tip. We got married that day and ate there in the evening. We received a super friendly welcome and had a wonderful evening for over 3.5 hours.

The two owners were funny, friendly and gave us detailed information about each of the 6 courses. Not too much, not too little. Always friendly, always a little joke on their lips. The various courses were absolutely delicious and prepared with a lot of love. Even our 7-year-old daughter enjoyed the different courses (instead of the usual pizza or pasta).

The price was reasonable and not at all overpriced. The highlight was the small number of guests, which made the experience totally intimate. We would love to come back.

Wonderful dinner experience. My wife chose 4 meals testing menu and I had selected starter and mains course from the menu. Everything was delicious and perfectly paired with wines. Certainly will come once again

The food was surprisingly good, the chef has his own idea and understanding of food and with the combination of wine. I felt that he/ they had serious thought of cooking, choosing the materials and the method of cooking it, I appreciated that. The experience was really good, We enjoyed every bite of it. Price is reasonable, 4 gang taste menu with matching wine costs 160€, I think it is ok in Dänemark. Highly recommended!

I wish I could give this restaurant and Mats Wergeland more stars than 5! Let me summarize; I've been fortunate to travel to many countries and have meals in many fine establishments; Restaurant Krebsegaarden was truly exceptional and ranks in my top 3 all time! From the ambience, personal attention and service, the passion behind each plate, the food; all combined to be "life memorable". We had the tasting menu (Winnie-the-Pooh) and accompanying wine pairings, very, very highly recommended!! The cost was very reasonable- i expected to pay more...
Let me also say that we were on a waiting list for Noma and we are very happy that we did not make it off the list.
If you are planning a trip to CPH, you need to include Restaurant Krebsegaarden; as you savor and enjoy the experience, you will thank me...

Amazing experience at this cozy Nordic restaurant. We had the 5 course dinner with wine pairing. Perfect 🤩. All the dishes were beautifully presented with an interesting story on how the chefs conceived them as innovations in modern and traditional tastes. Mads and Carsten are the perfect hosts. The pictures are off the most delicious egg caramel custard (not your pedestrian egg custard 😊) and poached pear desert. And the delicate trout with grapefruit beurre blanc sause. We look forward to returning.

Amazing meal from start to finish. Went by myself and stayed for over two hours. Very comfortable and well cared for. A must go when in Copenhagen!

Best meal of my life! While in Copenhagen, my wife made reservations for dinner (Please make reservations as tables are limited to offer the best dining experience). We enjoyed several courses specifically tailored to accompany the Galleri Krebsen exhibits, as the chef/owner provided inviting conversation and personal insight into each dish.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable fine dining experience at Krebsegaarden last night! The 5-course tasting was perfect. The blue mussel soup was superb! Langoustines, veal, redfish, and the sublime cheese tasting to finish. The chef and owner’s participation made the whole experience even finer, especially the perfect wine pairings. Tak!

There are 1000s of reasons this restaurant is highly recommended. Their high-end approach to every detail is apparent when you dine here. The food, atmosphere, service, wine selection, and all-over good time are a true pleasure to encounter. We look forward to visiting when we are in Copenhagen again.
