Badehotel Harmonien

Badehotel Harmonien has a special place in my heart. We were welcomed by the lovely host and owner of Badehotel Harmonien Monica. The rooms are very cozy and clean. It gave me the feeling of home, which is better than any modern hotel. She showed us around the hotel and explained everything very well. Monica makes sure we have everything we need and always checks up on us. She is also a very honest host, which we appreciate a lot. We were supposed to 3 nights, but did not get there on time due to Ferry cancellation and Monica made sure we don’t have to pay for the extra night. 😊 even though the bathroom and shower is to be shared, Monica made sure that the other guests were on the other floor, so we had more privacy for us in the bathroom. There‘s a lobby/living room with very good choices of books in English, danish and German. A TV and many board games. We enjoyed our evenings playing chess and other games. It has parking in front of the hotel and a very nice sea view with shallow water.
The highlight of the stay was the dinner and the conversations with Monica. She introduced every single dish to us and explain the meaning of it including the ingredients, which makes the food even more enjoyable ❤ I did not skip a single meal 😁 you can tell that Monica puts her heart and passion into this hotel and restaurant. The breakfast, prepared by Susi was also amazing with a little Italian touch. The prices of the rooms and meals are reasonable, as Ærøskøbing is an island without bridges and relies on the ferry. Staying at this hotel, you’ll feel more like a friend than a hotel guest here. Grazie di tutto and for such a nice experience!!

Best wood fired pizza in Denmark. I can't believe that this place exists where it does. We went in there by chance and were blown away by the pizza. Everything was like being in tuscany again. Don't visit Ærø without stopping by for a nice pizza and a cold Italian beer.

This is only a review for the restaurant side of the hotel. Being the only place open until 22:00 we were directed here by the locals when we were wandering around aimlessly. Outstanding pizza. The new owners have only been here for 4 months so I don't know if there is going to be a name change or if this has already happened. Either way, this was tremendous pizza for the price in an idyllic location overlooking the water.

They really make you feel welcomed and when we left it felt like family. Very clean and friendly staff. Great pizza and freshly made pasta. I would recommend them and also plan on visit again.

This review is for the restaurant. It is also a hotel, but we did not stay there nor view the rooms. We stumbled upon the restaurant and were seated right away. The ambiance is perfectly charming and great for couples, families or large parties. We saw all there. We were a couple, but sat near the windows and had a romantic panorama of the water and the full moon rising. The view could not have been better. The pizza was cooked in a large wood fired oven and was fantastic.
They stay open until 10pm and have beer and wine. They said they also plan to stay open through the winter. (Many restaurants in aeroskobing close or have limited hours in the winter months as I understand.) We were here mid September. Food and weather could not have been better. They also have plenty of outdoor seating. I think this will be a hit on Aero.

What can I say? The Badehotel felt like a second home to us. We loved the relaxed vibe of this charming hotel, simply hanging out in the garden by the sea, enjoying the view from the balcony - and who could forget - devouring some fantastic pizza's! We had a rather spontaenous little wedding ceremony in the beautiful garden by the sea, and the lovely host, Monica, did everything and more to make it into the most romantic, special occassion. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who enjoys staying in a place with a story and some character. Rather than anonymous luxury, expect simple comforts, great service and absolute coziness - all within walking distance of the best that Aeroskobing has to offer!

Monica is an excellent host and it's a lovely place to stay - amazing location with sea views, garden, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. In addition to that is the genuinely Italian restaurant, I had a superb pizza and the desserts looked great but I was stuffed!

The hotel is so perfectly placed! Beautiful location, right on the coast line of this stunning island. The staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. If you travel to Aero this hotel is a must to either stay at or eat at! Can't wait to go back!

Frederico and Monica arr superb hosts and the pizza is out of this world. Taking the ferry to Ærø for Frederico's pizza alone is worth the travel. Thank you for fabtastic service. Best regards Christian Scheele, Ph.D.

Very good pizzas and very good and different kind of cheese burger. Nice cozy atmosphere, and polite staff. Highly recommended for dinner.

Beautiful, quiet hotel, right on the shores of Aeroskobing, with friendly and welcoming owners (Thank you, Monica), wonderful breakfast and a fantastic italian restaurant.
Although the toilet and bathroom were not private but rather shared with the entire floor, it was still super cosy.

The food was truly delicious, with a nice seaview. Very charming, the oven in the middle of the parlour. Very nice service, quick and friendly.

From the food to the service and the good experience, i will definitely say 💯%
Will definetly be coming back to bade harmonien.
