Ich vermisse den Döner

I lived in Waldenburg for 10 months on an exchange and these guys are legendary to me. I have yet to find anything remotely as good in America, this is probably the best Döner you can find. On top of that, they have good prices and good pizza too, that Döner pizza goes crazy. Not a week goes by that I don’t miss this Döner. If you’re ever in Waldenburg, Saxony, and honestly I can’t think of a reason you would be, GO TO THIS PLACE. You will not regret it.

Familie Baran macht m.M.n. den besten Döner in der Gegend. Die Preise sind zwar ordentlich, der Döner ist dafür aber auch ziemlich gut gefüllt.
Zu empfehlen sind auch die Pizzen, die sind auch sehr lecker!
Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!
100% zu empfehlen!!

Leckere Döner als ach leckere Pizzen. In regelmäßigen Abständen immer wieder gern. Das Lokal könnte mal wieder eine Auffrischung vertragen.

Bester Döner(auch ordentlich voll) in der Gegend und die Pizzen sind auch super. Bloß schade, dass es sie nicht größer als 26cm gibt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man muss nicht lange warten. Top!

Ist wirklich der einzige Döner in der Umgebung und Glauchauer Umgebung, der sich über die Jahre so konstant gut hält.. Dort essen, auf jeden Fall immer wieder gern.

About Waldenburg
Town in Germany

Waldenburg is a town in the district Zwickau in Saxony, Germany. The castle was owned by the House of Schönburg from 1378 until 1945. The pottery town of Waldenburg lies in the valley of the Zwickauer Mulde. The environment is characterized by forest areas, river meadows and the hilly landscape of the Erzgebirge foothills. Waldenburg was founded around 1254 and first documented in 1336 as the town of "Waldinberg". The German settlement of the area that later became Waldenburg began with the founding of the monastery in Remse in 1143. The construction of Waldenburg Castle took place between 1165 and 1172. It was built as a security post on the salt trade route at the Mulden crossing. The streets, buildings and remains of the town wall in the upper town still show Walsenburg's roots in the Middle Ages. A look into the multi-story cellar systems of the upper town reveal even more evidence of this. Walsenburg's pottery tradition has been strong for 700 years. Friedrich XI of Schönburg-Waldenburg awarded the Waldenburg potters their first letter of guild in 1388. Salt-glazed Waldenburg stoneware became very famous throughout Europe in the late Middle Ages. source
