News Café

I vidited the News Cafe at the Stuttgart Airport. Just had a bretzel, which was very good.

Great apple pie and very good coffee. Rather a surprise! Go there for coffee!

Friendly staff, otherwise what you expect.

Die Dame an der Theke muss ich loben 🙂 sehr freundliche und andauernd lächelnde Dame! Die Schlange war riesig und dennoch ist die Bedienung sehr konzentriert, höflich und strahlt bereits um 5.20 Uhr morgens. Die heiße Schokolade hat auch super geschmeckt.

Bin im News Café immer wieder gerne zu Besuch. Frisches, leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal 😉

Obstsalat und Sandwich waren okay. Schöne Aussicht zum Prosecco trinken. ( Piccolo 9.50€ ). Speisen und Cappuccino für Flughafenpreise.

Quick service. Good choice of snack and beer. Cheaper than other places around. Should clean tables faster. Visited twice.

Für einen Flughafen normale Preise. Der größte Pluspunkt: Es gibt Bier vom Fass.
Personal nett, aber manchmal etwas langsam.

Alkoholfreies Weizen für 5,50 € ist okay. Das ist bei den viel zu hohen Flughafenpreisen gerade noch akzeptabel. Die Atmosphäre dort war ganz angenehm.

Let's start with the positives:
👍 Nice place in general with good views of the apron.
👍 They open early.
👍 Good selection of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The negative points are:
👎 Very expensive restaurant, even for an airport location!
👎 Often crowded, because the other airside restaurants are currently closed.
👎 Stressed staff / service quality not the best to put it mildly...
👎 Mainly ready-to-eat food is available, I couldn't see anything freshly prepared.
👎 My expensive salad didn't taste good and was mainly made of (cheap) iceberg lettuce I think...

Tip: If you fancy a beer, don't grab a bottle from the shelf but ask for a draught beer on tap from the bar. Much better taste!

Clean, good range of cafe food.
Pro tip : The wooden forks add a weird taste to the cheesecake so just eat it with your hands....nom nom nom

Understaffed but ok products for an airport.

Precios de aeropuerto. Como sus clientes son ocasionales o incluso, clientes que jamás volverán, no ponen empeño en ofrecer un buen servicio.
La calidad de los productos están bien.
Si se regresa el envase de plástico de los refrescos, devuelven 25 céntimos!

The buns are super hard and dry, considering one costs 8 euros I would expect higher quality. The meat inside was just a rock. The tables are clean in general and the service was fast.

Hohe Preise erwarte ich, doch der Kaffee ist überextrahiert und zu heiß - schmeckt leider einfach nur schlecht. Wahrscheinlich wurden die Maschinen nicht auf die Bohnen eingestellt.
Dann: Nichts Gesundes im Angebot. Nur Zucker- und Brotprodukte oder ein Glas mit eingelegtem Obst.
Zudem keine Kartenzahlung. Für einen internationalen Flughafen für mich unmöglich. Was machen denn internationale Reisende, die gerade vielleicht keine Euros zur Hand haben?

Der Kaffee war noch in Ordnung, aber die Brezel war die schlechteste die ich je gegessen habe.
