This charming restaurant truly delivers authentic North Indian cuisine at its finest. Both the non-vegetarian and vegetarian options were exceptional, leaving us thoroughly impressed. The standout dishes for us were the chicken biryani, Szechwan chicken fried rice, and all the starters we tried. The service was top-notch, and the team accommodated our requests, including providing a separate room and customizing our spice levels to perfection. The ambience was just right, creating a pleasant dining experience. Highly Recommended!!

I had the best Butter Chicken here. It was so good I kept thinking about it for days. The food is really great and authentic and the vibe is good. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s interested in having a great meal.

It was only my second visit to Athidhi but I would definitely go there again. It is conveniently accessible, next to the tram stop and has a parking for the guests. For South Indian food lovers, you can get delicious and authentic dosas on Fri. Sat. and Sundays, which are worth a try but don't forget to book in advance!

We have tried the standard North Indian dishes (butter chicken, saag lamb, naan) and the typical South Indian items (medhu vada, dosas) on two different occasions, and were equally satisfied with both. Generous portions, friendly service and reasonable prices make Athidhi a place you want to revisit. The Mysore masala dosa (photo below) is worth trying, if you are a dosa lover!
Note South Indian dishes are served only during the weekends.

Authenticity in Indian food is often missed when we are in Germany. This place offers amazing Indian food perfectly done with the right spice levels.
Even with loads of customers on the Saturday last weekend they served us with pleasure.
We were recommended to try paneer lababdar when we ordered something else and to our surprise that was the best dish.
They even have SouthIndian dosas etc. which we couldn't try though as we were full😊

Very good restaurant with very tasty food . South Indian options in weekends are amazing. Indian-Chinese food like Manchurian or paneer chili tastes amazing. Daily buffet with Nan and tasty Currys is very good option if you like to try variations in your lunch. Reachable with tram with stop direct in front of of restaurant. Indian beer kingfisher is cheery on top. Good job.

Our Dosa craving got sorted here. Dosas were so yum and crisp. We ordered a plain dosa, ghee karam dosa (my favourite), masala dosa, samosa chenna & two mocktails which costed us 37euros. Definitely worth the money. Felt like having authentic Indian food. Good ambience and service as well.

We visited multiple time Since it opened, We love it. The food is absolutely gorgeous and authentic. The lunch buffet is a bargain: starter, main course, desert. The staff is friendly and the interior are beautiful. Go there and enjoy it, you will not regret it! So I am giving 5 star for food, 5 star to staff, 5 star ⭐ to restaurant. The Dosa and other Indian breakfast items are too… good

We absolutely loved our meals.
The popadoms were fresh and the curries were really nice. We had the Chicken Kadai and the Chicken Madras. We travel to England quite a lot, and we’ve been finding it hard to get a really nice curry in Germany, but this one was up there.
The guys serving us were very friendly and welcoming.
We‘ll definitely come back.

Quite authentic Indian food in the city with reasonably good choices. Excellent services by the staff members including the owner. Advance table booking is something one has to do to ensure a place especially for dinner! Also possible to order via Uber food services. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try Indian cuisine!

My now favorite Indian restaurant! We booked on Valentine’s Day very last minute. They opened the ballroom for this day and I was glad for that, it was really full. My husband and I couldn’t decide so we took a bit of everything xD no regret it was all great. There was hardly leftovers but we had the option to take what was left. We got a yummy desert as a gift. I really recommend this place affordable and just delicious!

5 star food, 5 star staff, 5 star restaurant. We admit, we are hooked. Since it opened, we went there every week and we love it. The food is absolutely gorgeous and authentic (we’ve been to India a few times). The lunch buffet is a bargain: starter, main course, desert. The staff is friendly and the interior is beautiful (we know how it looked before)! What a little gem in Kirchheim. Go there and enjoy it, you will not regret it!

Fantastic place to enjoy authentic Indian food. Been to many Indian restaurants across Europe, and this can easily rated one of the best. The taste these guys bring out from their food is fantastic. One must definitely try chicken Lababdar and chicken biryani, and the naan was also excellent. Drinks were also made to perfection.

Only one thing is water is very costly...for 0.75 L bottle they charge 5.50 euro...which looks very expensive.

I am glad we have this amazing restaurant in Heidelberg area which serves the best Indian food in a finer dining experience. The drinks are fantastic, starters are excellent especially the drums of heaven. The main course dish Punjabi kukkad is unbeatable, the Dum biryani is divine, the garlic naan is the best in the area. You will not be dissapointed. The manager Suman is absolute tops, takes very good care of the guests and we will be going there everytime we crave Indian food. 100% recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience.

Some standard things like people may expect to pack left overs need to be streamlined. Very authentic and hygienic authentic India food. Good variety to choose from. Friendly and poaitive staff . Enjoyed!!

Delicious. They especially have new & rare delicacies from India like the kolli chips. Worth trying.

This branch of Athitdhi has an added advantage as it is also a nice bier garten & top class service by the professional waiters unlike most of the other Indian restaurants.

The new indian resto in town! From the time you enter the restaurant, everything is so eye candy and appealing with pleasing decor and interiors, done very tastefully. If you are looking for real, authentic Indian food, this is the place to go to. I have eaten at Indian restaurants around the country and in europe, however good they are and taste, they don’t taste as good as food in india would. The quality and taste is so authentic and Delicious, healthy and a huge variety of dishes. Everyday on weekdays they have a Buffet with a very descent spread and very very reasonably priced for the variety they offer with the menu being changed everyday with a lot of new dish options which aren’t on the Ala Carte menu. If you are looking for tasty, affordable and authentic Indian food, this is the place to go.
