Hanaro Markt

A very convenient Asian market located in little Tokyo. It's not the cheapest market but they have a good choice of Japanese and Korean products. They also sell fresh fish, vegetables and some lunch boxes with tempura, etc. I definitely recommend it! Just 100 meters from Dusseldorf bahnof.

I paid a scouting visit to this supermarket that I’ve long heard rave reviews of. I instantly regretted ordering my rice cooker from Amazon, seeing that Hanaro carries a few solid models at reasonable price points.

The place was joyously crowded and I refrained from taking photos, which would clog up shelf access even more.

Mountains of rice sacks, condiments and fresh produces, box lunches and dishes, frozen goodies, Korean barbecue kits and Japanese table ware, this place has a super high joy-of-discovery per square meter ratio.

I noted with particular pleasure how many non-Asian faces are among the crowd, studying the tables and asking around for help and happily exploring. Love the vibe.

it’s big and very very extreme crowded … there’s Thai food products and Indian food products too … there’s fresh food and fresh beef and fish and fresh veggies but they are little bit expensive!! you have to think twice before buying

One of my favourite Asian markets in Düsseldorf. Great selection of Korean and Japanese things. Fairly big place, usually very busy. You can find freshly prepared snacks like sushi, bean sprout pancakes, taiyaki, yakitori, etc. Sometimes they have fresh rice cakes. Good frozen food selection.

It’s equivalent to Hmart in the US where you can find almost everything you need to cook Korean food. They also sell a lot of banchan and cut fresh fruits 😍😍😍

Nice shop with delicious food! There is a place next door where you can enjoy your snacks and at the exit a microwave if you want to heat anything up. Super convenient

Heaven for asian 🥰 price is more lower than other place even sometimes variants not that much for Chinese and indonesian thing but really helpful. The bubble and onigiri so good! Love it!!

Great selection of asian groceries. I noticed the price of furikake here is somehow slightly cheaper than other asian store in town 🤔

The Hanaro Market is a incredibly big Asian Supermarket with may kinds of different food. They also have a wide variety of fresh food in very good quality.

Got a vegetarian sushi roll from the counter! It was super delicious and you could tell it was made recently! The rice was still fluffy. The people working there were making the rice dishes as we were shopping. A great store to go to grab some asian foods and drinks! Everything felt reasonably priced!

Nice little store with a grand assortment of Asian foods. The sushi looked fresh and they have a bit of everything. The prices are fair in comparison to most places around Europe. Great selection of spices!

Lots of fun Japanese, Korean, Asian snacks & many items, good selection of single shot sake for Solo Travelers, mochis etc. It’s a playground of fun food stuff! This Japanese supermarket is walking distance from Dusseldorf HBF central train station. Lovely team working here especially Hana (I’ve made a new cool friend). I give double Thumbs Up!!

My wife and i being from japan came here to see what it was all about. Isles full of everything you could possibly need. Absolutely loved all the choices. Place was extremely busy but they koved the line along rather quickly.

Load of dry and fresh food. Not only Japanese but also South East Asia and Korea.

Easy to walk, clear aisle organize and fair price.

So I think I bought the best Kimchi here?! Great market with all cool asian ingredients you might need...

Pros:
- They sell fresh bento with reasonable price and disc 50% after 7 pm
- A wide variety of Japanese and Korean products
- The staffs were friendly

Cons:
-Very crowded during weekends
- You may need to double check the expired date for discounted products

One of the best Asian stores on Düsseldorf and that's saying a lot. Lots of sales and a big selection.

Perfect place to buy nearly every asiatische product. Prices are lower than in other shops nearby. You should try their onigiris and kimbab!

A very nice shop for Korean Japanese goodies and food. They have fresh meat and a fish counter

One of the best places in the area that I visit so far and could find all the Asian groceries I was looking for in one place.
They have also products that can be found in South America as condensed milk, frozen manioc (Yuka), tapioca flour, etc.
You can also find some fresh ready to eat food as sushi, gimpab, etc.
