Zoo Hamm

Very nice place for spend time with kids. Many different animals, a lot of tree. You have opportunity for feeding some animals. Touch-zoo wich goats is big love of my kids. And Playground here is best in Germany 👌 Just personal on the cash-register are not so friendly.

This place has a wide range of animals and is kid friendly. My kids totally enjoyed it. It's a calming and serene atmosphere. It has Puma, Tiger, peacock, camel, and many more birds and animals. I would definitely recommend taking the kids here

Very nice, creatively Presented zoo. Animals have lot of space. Nice place with little 'houses' for children to play: bakery, kitchen, bank, school... highly recommanded! Free with Ruhr card.

This park is not to big, so no comparing with big zoo's, but brilliant for children, a play park and some food shops as well, plenty to see, lot's of animals...more small one's, but enough to keep children entertaint. Easy access for wheel chair user's, entrance fee's are OK, well worth a family day out.... Free parking as well.
One other point... Here you can take your dog with you, and plenty of water bowl's available for your wee dog.

The zoo Hamm is a full-fledged, scientifically managed zoo and offers a very special zoo experience from the tiger to the mouse. Around 550 animals in 80 species can be discovered up close.
You can touch the albino kangaroos "Flocke" and "Wolke" in the walk-in kangaroo. Bright faces can be seen at the petting zoo at the children's farm, in the walk-in alpaca enclosure and at the cute meerkats, who live together in one of the largest plants in Germany with the fox mongooses. Zoological features are the Borneo gibbons, the Madagascar Fossas and the Tyras. You can marvel at Germany in hardly any other zoo. A highlight for young explorers and experienced trade visitors.

More than 80 years ago the Südstadtpark became the animal and plant garden, which invites people to take a stroll then and now. From the oak tree to the cloverleaf you can enjoy a great tree and plant life incl. In summer, the trees also provide pleasant shade in many places. Currently and in the coming years, a lot of money and energy will be invested to make the existing enclosures even more natural - so that you can experience the animals even more closely

Neat little zoo. Many of the animals can be fed and petted. Have been there several times already and always love coming back.

What really impressed me is the play area for kids and the various places one can park their car. And of course, the animals...the alpacas were my favourite. Sad that the tiger stayed hidden from view.

Fantastic! There're not elephants and giraffes, but you can see there flamingoes, lemurs, syberian tigers and much more :) When you walk through the zoo, you feel nature around you. Children pay €4,50, adults €7,50. I think you'll not be disappointed ;)

It's a nice place to spend time with family and kids. Ticket prices are reasonable.

Super cute & easy to navigate. Lots of areas to interact or get up close to the animals. Also has a Spielplatz.
