Van der Valk Hotel Hildesheim

A very nice, clean hotel. A really nice atmosphere and fantastic service. Prices are fair and the rooms clean and modern. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was great.
Parking is available via a underground garage.
The hotel is located at the beautiful Hildesheim marketplace and near all attractions (e.g. Dom).
I can highly recommend the hotel.

A very nice hotel, beautiful interiors, central location. The sauna and pool were good, breakfast decent too.
The only disadvantages - the clock tower woke us up very early, the room was facing the Marktplatz. And there are no charging places in the garage for electric vehicles (or we didn’t find them).

Most of the Van der Valk hotels is super and this was superb!! Good parking under the hotel, perfect location in the center, very nice room, comfortable bed and our room categori had a very beautiful view towards the square! Breakfast was super!! Thanks! 🤩

The Van der Valk hotel is the perfect place to stay in Hildesheim. My husband and I were only in town for one night, but we were delighted at the view from our room facing the square. The rooms are nice and the staff was very helpful. They even let us know there was a wine festival going on that night in the square. There is a restaurant and bar on the first floor. We visited both and I highly recommend both of them. There is also on site self parking for €9.50 per day. If you find yourself in Hildesheim, definitely stay at Van der Valk. Thank you.

This hotel is super! The staff are wonderful! The food at the restaurant is great too not to mention the breakfast buffet! The staff were very helpful to my colleagues and I in finding restaurants, things to do, and other general info that we needed. Everyone at the hotel is always very friendly and polite! I was here on business this time but I would stay here if I came to Hildesheim on vacation as well. Highly recommend this hotel!

The town is very impressive. We were told that the entire town was destroyed during the second world war and was subsequently restored to its original state. The result is stunning. Right in the middle of the town square is located this hotel.

This is an impressive hotel. From the outside (the town square side) the hotel seems small. But from the side, you can feel the size of the hotel. Rooms are large, spacious and very well decorated. Inside the entire hotel is modern in its decor. With a small Swimming Pool, Sauna, Gym, it's a perfect place for all members of the family.

The dinner was a buffet with salads, starters and dessert inside. But outside on the town square side, there was a massive barbecue, which too was part of the buffet. The sheer number of items itself was impressive, not to mention their taste, which was exquisite.

Very Nice place to stay and rest during traveling. Clean and neat and well maintained with helpful staff. 👌 Good choice for groups of families and businesses.

Such a lovely hotel. Everything was beautiful and clean, not just the rooms, but all areas like the reception also invited you to sit down and just hangout. Staff were friendly and helpfull and we hope to visit this hotel again. Next time hopefully for more than one night. We especially enjoyed our cocktails and would recommend everyone staying to visit the bar.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, rooms are absolutely spotless and very spacious. We were overlooking the market square which at the time had the Christmas market on. The buildings on view from our room were spectacular. There is a lovely bar down stairs and staff there and behind the front desk were very friendly. Perfect stay all round and we will definitely be staying again.

Nice stylish hotel in the heart of Hildesheim. Friendly staff. Delicious buffet breakfast! Comfortable beds and very important: quiet at night area even though is right in front of the market place with a few restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

Excellent! Location is exceptional. Dinner in the Market plaza which is a piece of traditional architecture. Rooms are just perfect and breakfast is nice too (pay 15 eur besides invoice). Room rates are very good for the value provided. I would recommend to anyone!

The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. You can ask for an iron and an ironning board if you need it. You have 2 bottles of watter, 2 tea capsules and 2 coffee capsules free of charge in the room. Anything else you would need to buy from the hotel mini market.

The room was super clean, as expected. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool and gym area. The measures against Corona were enforced well. We're hoping to go back soon!

Very nice hotel. Good restaurant and very good breakfast. Bar always a bit crowded especially in weekends. Nice and clean sauna & swimming pool.

Stayed here with a TV crew, the hotel is lovely, in a very central location and the amazing staff went all out to accomodate every wish and necessity for us. Even in very difficult COVID conditions. Thank you!

Very nice hotel and super breakfast buffet

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Great location and great rooms, great service. Breakfeast is also superb. Parking is easy in the basement, though it is not cheap.
