Quick service, outstanding food, cold beer...too full for dessert, but from seeing them at other tables, their offerings were solid. We all left bragging about the meal. Clean (bathrooms included) and well-staffed. Waiter had an enthusiastic sense of humor and was very welcoming. Get outdoor seating upstairs if you can...it fills fast. We had fun, and they lived up to their name.

You take places as you find them .Visited early evening was quickly shown to a table and although our part of the restaurant was quite full our drinks order was taken quickly and brought to the table shortly afterwards . There was non the surliness mention in other reviews . Food order was taken and brought within a reasonable time. The food was nothing exceptional but well cooked , hot and well presented. Looking around other tables were being served as quick . We had to wait a while for our sweet but we were not in a hurry so not inconvenienced . We would certainly eat there again .

Highly recommended. Very good. The menu is a bit busy but offers a lot, especially several classics and typical German dishes. So it's not just an easy schnitzel and fries. I had the pig's boned ham (schweine-haxe) with sauerkraut which was cooked to perfection. Big portions!! The staff was very professional. They walked calm and where very attentative on customers who just entered, wanted to ask something, needed a new drink or wanted to pay. Very smooth serving. Meal and drinks came fast. Clearly an establishment that is used to serving many customers in a short period during lunch and with good service. Very good pricing.

Awesome little town next to the Mosel river.

Good German restaurant with a great price to quality/quantity value. Staff are friendly and service was quick (downstairs was full, but the wait time for ordering and food was good). A good choice for a satisfying and enjoyable meal!

Beautiful village with great shopping and food choices. Quite scenic with the local castle overlooking it.
