Small but worthwhile visit. The aquarium is being upgraded this winter and will be an even better visit for the upgrade

This aquarium is absolutely brilliant. Visited with my husband, sister, brother in law and nephew on a visit from Australia and it was a real highlight! Positioned next to the North Sea with a cafe attached that has a panaromic view while you eat, this is a must visit! Staff lovely and the gift shop was wonderful.

For what seems like a small building they do really pack a lot in for you to see! There are lots of things to look at including a whole room with fossils and creatures that haven't evolved much (like horseshoe crabs). The seal tank was a favorite as you can see the seals swim against the glass and then go to the top of the aquarium and see them from the top playing in the water. Our whole family enjoyed it and already our children are asking when we can go again.

This was our first visited aquarium with my family. children liked sharks and penguins the most. Aquarium is smaller but so beautiful

Saw seals, sharks, sea horses, and penguins. The place was a good size for us because our toddler gets tired after 45min anyways. The place doesn't have ac, but it was not hot.
We were lucky and saw the seals and penguins fed.
The sea animals were content and nice to.look at, they are well taken care of and had no scars (unlike other aquariums we have seen)

Amazing Aquarium with lots of other stuff besides fish, like fossils, tropical birds, penguins, seals, lizards and much more.

Surprised because I read that it was rather small but we had quite a long stay and loved every minute of it.

A great small aquarium with attached indoor playground. There are penguins and seals in the aquarium. Small bits to eat. Fish sandwiches are ok. Bathrooms always clean, even in high season.
Always friendly towards little kids.
