This museum is the one that you MUST visit if you're a biker, an engineer, a technical history lover, or just like to admire the beautiful things. I spent three hours there, and standing in front of some legendary motorcycles, I felt chills down my spine. The NSU exposition is also awesome. Totally loved it!

Extensive and interesting collection of NSU and other pioneer brands of motorcycles and a few cars.
Caveat: all the plaques detailing history and specs of each bike are all in German. So we used Google Translate camera app to good effect.

Lovely museum, good collection of bikes, which will tickle any kind of motorcycle/moped enthousiast. Very kind staff who make you feel very welcome, for a small price of 6 euro per person (3 for students).
At the moment due to Corona there is no option for food or drinks, but the staff pointed us to a very nice place nearby.

The sweetest people work here. We came in looking for information about 1 specific model of NSU car. They let us use all their books and even helped by going through them to find the info we needed.

Once again, thank you!

Cool museum, especially of course if you are interested in motorcycles. I'm not a big motorcycle fan but I still enjoyed the huge collection of different kinds of vehicles. We had a guided tour with a very friendly guide who knew everything and was very enthusiastic. It looks smaller from the outside - don't be fooled though. They have a very big collection ;) Thanks again for the guided private tour.

Very fun to see such an extensive history of motorcycles and a few old bicycles. Give yourself at least an hour when you visit. Needed to use Google translate since most the signs were only in German.

Extraordinarily helpful staff. This museum a real treat for us three bikers visiting from England. Not well signposted so make sure you have it nailed down in your satnav.

Great museum. There is something there for everyone. I'm not big into cycling, but seeing the history of the bicycle was interesting.
