Very nice beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Also excellent tasty food and quick service.
I can’t wait for the next trip there again

We were spontaneously searching for a place to eat and drink a beer on our way home (after a whole day Ausflug) when we saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try (without searching on Google) and we were surprised with such a great atmosphere and delicious food. We were also blessed to be able to meet there, because normally it’s only possible with a reservation (we got the last table available). Well… it makes sense. Such a good restaurant!

I was here 4 years ago during my business trip. I was very pleased by quality of my room and meals in restaurant downstairs. If I will have to go in this area again I will certainly urge to make reservations here. 5/5 definitely!!

On arrival we got from the campsite the recommendation to go here. It was on a zaterdag sow it looked very full and we had no reservation. But no problem we got a place on the terras and even with a full place the food was very good and also pretty fasts. Very friendly personal , we are going back on our last evening.

A real gem of a place in the Black Forest! Located in a gorgeous traditional building, the Gasthof is perfect both in terms of accommodation (room was spacious, warm and nicely decorated, good wifi too) and meals. Food is excellent (great Swabian specialties) and beers too. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were incredibly nice and went out of their way to speak English to me as my German is non-existent. Wish I could stay longer. Highly recommended to anybody in the area!

We love Gasthof Waldgericht, been twice now and while it sits unfortunately next to a highway, this place oozes charm and history. Comfortable if slightly dated rooms.

Ah, and the restaurant...is great. The food is really solid (love the escargot and escargot soup). Staff is friendly and attentive. Even if you are not staying here, the restaurant is worth a stop.

Nice atmosphere grate service and very good food

We came here for dinner as it was one of the few options open at 8:15 pm and we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff. It was delicious and we enjoyed it!

Spontan gegen 19h30 angerufen und obwohl die Küche um 20h30 zu macht, noch einen Platz für 20h15 bekommen. Super nettes Personal das Spaß an der Arbeit und am Menschen hat.
UND DAS ESSEN: noch nie so gute !selbstgemachte! Kroketten gegessen. Der Rest auch sehr lecker.
Sind direkt 2 Tage später wieder hingefahren weil es uns nicht aus dem Kopf gegangen ist. Es wurde extra ein separater Raum für uns aufgemacht, weil wir dieses Mal vorher vergessen hatten anzurufen und es bis unters Dach voll war.
Rundum: 10/10

Wir wollten unbedingt eines der besten Spätzle in dieser Umgebung essen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.

Wir waren mit der Familie dort zum Abendessen. Das „Pfännle“, das Rumpsteak sowie die Spätzle waren der Hammer. Trotz Mehrwertsteuer war der Preis für 4 Personen und ca 65 Euro sehr in Ordnung.

Wir werden wieder kommen definitiv.
