Botanical Garden

Wuppertal's Botanical Garden is a must-see if you are in the area. It is a great place to explore and enjoy the plants and animals of the region. The beautiful buildings create a lovely backdrop for some gorgeous photos. The Cafe is cute and has some delicious teas/coffees/desserts, as well as some lunch plates.
I do recommend using a flashlight in the bathrooms, though. I couldn't find a light switch anywhere so they may rely on natural light.

This is an awesome park and quite big as well, kept in a great condition with scenic pathways leading to unknown mysterious places, like a labyrinth where you always find the way out (luckily). There’s also a tower where you can climb upon for free and enjoy the nice view of Wuppertal and The botanical garden in all its beauty. there was, near one of the towers, a wonderful garden with nice labels on plants. There is also a cafe where you can stop by for a bite and a hot coffee in an amazing place like this, What can be better. This place always reminds you to be in the present moment and enjoy the ride.

I visited the park in the autumn season, which was fabulous. But there’s no right or wrong time, it’s always the perfect time.

Highly recommend it! Now take your coffee, backpack and optimism and go for a walk, you might be surprised of what comes out of it.

The perfect place for walking with your family.

My favourite place in Wuppertal. There's a great variety of plants, if you are interested in botanical sciences, and that can be enough for you.
Even if you're not interested in biology, these gardens offer you a great place to walk through and spend time. There's a ton of little nooks and paths you can pass by and spend time with. It doesn't get too crowded with kids even in the weekends.
Definitely would recommend to everybody, I go there at least twice a month.

Small, but free! Well worth a visit for a quick break. It's quite a walk to the top of the hill where it's based, tho!
Nice café run by some Turkish guys. The cakes looked great, although I only had room for a coffee at the time.
It seemed like a popular place for breakfast, as a lot of the tables inside were reserved for regulars.

Love it, so many different flowers

Nice small botanical garden with nice views of the city. Free entrance to see the plants both outside and inside the greenhouses.

Although it was winter.. So there were not so much flowers or something... But still it was pretty good and nice.. ☀🌞

Man! This is a real gem! There was a beautiful very large open space ...really a public park in wonderful condition with nice pathways, exceptionally well-kept grounds, benches, and multi-use areas. Additionally there was, near one of the towers, a wonderful garden with excellant labels on plants. This garden demonstrated design well and the range of uses of plants. There was a cafe, but i did not go there, so cannot comment on its quality.

Beautiful place

Great place to be enjoying the good weather. Relaxed atmosphere, people keep their distances. You can find around the pink tower cozy tables with chairs, so you can have there your own drinks and snacks.

Wedding reception in the Orangery - beautiful setting. Our area was roped off but it was so green and lush that I only saw 3 others all afternoon. The location was for a beautiful and relaxed venue with fabulous service and great food (though I don't know if that was sourced by the venue)

This place has it all. Great plant diversity, Art exhibitions, great views, romantic little walk paths, quite and calm surrounding, a place to have snacks, a tower to look over the city (or even to have a wedding in) and the entry is free. Especially during spring and summer it's such a nice and relaxing spot to visit. Full recommendation.

Great place for wedding ceremony and party. The only bad thing is that it is open for other people when you have wedding there. But park is absolutely beautiful.

It is a nice botanical garden. If you go till there walking, you need to be ready. You will need to walk for long distance up hill.
