Beautiful park area in Wuppertal. With a few hiking path and nice benches to sit. There is also an enclosed area for deer, where kids can see them up close as well as a nice little playground. They also recently installed a visitor platform, where you can look over most parts of Wuppertal. Now it only needs a better connection to public transport. Full recommendation. 👌🏿👌🏿

It is a large park on top of a hill, overviews g half of Wuppertal. Most of the paths are not paved, but are in a good condition enough that kids can roll with their scooter. There are at least 3 playgrounds. They all have sand. One is generic, one for 1-4 years old and one specialized for climbing and some assymetric rides.
Next to 2 of the parks there is a more sport area with a 5x5 football court, a collection of gym instruments, an large asphalt flat area for kids with rollers, bikes etc
At one end of the park there is also a pier with city view.
Overall a great place to spend weekend noons on warmer days.

Very cool find in Wuppertal, with great views across the city from a specially designed platform (and in general from most of the park). The neighbourhood around the park is also quite picturesque, old houses with character, nice forested trails to and from the park. As it's quite far from the centre, it's not that frequented so a good local spot to hang out. Also very good for runs if you can take the steep slopes.

Lovely location high up on the hilltop over looking Wuppertal. Plenty of equipment for kids, and very safe. Nice ice cream van at the top too ;)
