Steak with fries is paired perfectly with a creamy, cheesy sauce. Salmon is also cooked fresh with incredible flavour. Highly recommend!

This is a favorite with locals, and it has the best Biergarten I've found in Ludwigshafen. I wanted my guests to experience real German food; they wanted to go back the next day. The Biergarten is large and had lots of plants offering shade. You are also allowed to get ice-cream from next door and eat it in the Biergarten. The building is very old, which is rare in Ludwigshafen, but it does mean the floors inside are quite uneven. I think it's charming, but it might be difficult for those with mobility issues, especially accessing the washrooms.

This is one of the coziest restaurants in town. Here you can relax after work and have a delicious meal. The staff is friendly and positive. Recommend this place!

I'm traveling from the US for a 6 month stay in Ludwigshafen. My German colleague and friend introduced me to this beergarten. It's a true gem! The local beer is outstanding! The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. I plan to visit Maffenbeier on a regular basis here during my stay!

The food was delicious and the size of the portions was very good. The inside is quite small but the outside area is compensating for the tight fit inside.
